Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Admitting privileges, history and physical, preparing treatment plans, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions of the following body systems: cardiovascular, circulatory, dermatologic, endocrine, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, hematological, immune, infectious, metabolic, musculoskeletal, neurological, psychiatric, pulmonary, renal, rheumatologic, administration of parenteral fluids, medications & blood products, suturing minor lacerations, urethral catheterization, incision & draining of superficial abscess, occult blood testing, inhalation therapy IPPB, joint injection, oxygen administration, cleaning & dressing wounds, wound debridement, intravenous catheterization, phlebotomy, application of restraints, ventilator management, mechanical chest percussion devices, initial management of fractures, physical modalities, aquatic therapy, osteopathic manipulation by osteopathic physicians, trigger point injections and serial casting/splinting.
• Prescribing treatment for inpatients referred by consultations.
• Providing special tests such as injections or procedures with a commitment to excellence.
• Utilizing electronic medical records in accordance within policy and other regulatory bodies.
• Participation in staff meetings, educational activities, administrative and other duties as assigned.

The Primary Purpose of the Position is: Supervises a smaller, less complex laboratory having no GS-11 subordinate to the supervisor.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs the full range of supervisory duties. Recommends appointment, awards, advancement, disciplinary actions; plans and assigns work; gives advice and counsel; evaluates work of subordinates; and identifies continuing education and training needs.
• Assures compliance with accrediting agency and regulatory requirements.
• Is responsible for monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure acceptable levels of performance.
• Establishes and monitors the quality of pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processes as part of the overall laboratory quality management program.
• Assures corrective action is initiated when test performance deviates from established performance specifications.
• Assures orientation, training, and competency assessment of staff.
• Develops policies and procedures, manages document control, develops performance standards, position descriptions, and functional statements.
• Responsible for professional and administrative management of assigned area/s, to include budg.et execution, supplies, and other resources.

• Provides simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned for the issue of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
• Responsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner in accordance with CAE standards
• Other required administrative duties (completes training records, recommends remedial training when necessary, track his/her own instructional qualifications and activity, etc.)
• Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in creation of curricula and courseware when required

Physical Requirements of this role include:

• The physical dexterity required in performing tasks that require hand / eye coordination and fine motor skills.  
• Ability to sit in a confined space for 4-6 hours at a time with limited breaks

Job Description:

Provides support to Oil and Gas Property Manager for comprehensive management of oil, gas and mineral assets held in trust, estate, agency accounts.  Primary duties include the daily research and adjustment inquiries related to oil and gas revenue to ensure timely receipt/processing of income; determine accounting entries and makes appropriate disposition, and answering inquiries received from various channels. Also involved in the tracking of leasing activities and ensuring timely processing of pooling orders.

General Statement of Duties:

The Research & Digital Information Analyst will be responsible for providing reference and research services to attorneys, paralegals, summer ‎associates, and team members in all Locke Lord LLP offices.‎

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides reference and research services to attorneys, paralegals, summer associates, and team members in all offices

• Bills time for research and other work associated with active client matters

• Performs in-depth legal, corporate, financial and/or general research for lawyers, staff, and clients by using the appropriate mix of the Firm’s wide range of information resources

• Maintains a thorough understanding of the scope, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of the Firm’s various information resources, and selects the most relevant tool(s) for any given request

• Provides summary reports of research when appropriate, either via traditional narrative explanation, through visualizations of data/information, or a combination of both

• Works with Locke Lord LLP’s Information Services Team to ensure all reference requests are filled in an accurate and timely manner

• Participates in the planning, development, and standardization of programs for continuing education for attorneys and professional team members

• Trains and orients newly hired attorneys and other professional team members in assigned offices to the services and resources offered by the Information Services Department

• Keeps up with new developments, technologies, innovations, and products in the fields of legal and business research

• Creates print and digital asynchronous training materials for use by attorneys and professional team members

• Assists in the creation and maintenance of litigation alerts for attorneys

• Act as research liaison to assigned practice group and teams, including attending meetings and reporting back on information and training needs

• Assists in the design and maintenance of the Department’s intranet page, including updating practice group and jurisdictional content pages

• Follows and implements the marketing strategies developed by the Information Services team to promote the Department’s services and resources

• Keeps abreast of emerging technologies as they affect legal and business research

• Manages physical library collection for Dallas and other assigned offices, including organizing and maintaining the collection, making decisions to renew or cancel resources, purchasing new publications, processing invoices, and assisting with budgeting

• Assists with renewals and management of electronic resources used in assigned offices

• Other responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Library or Information Science from an American Library Association accredited program, preferably with coursework in law librarianship and/or legal research

• JD from an American Bar Association accredited program is preferred, but not required

• 3+ years of experience in a law library, preferably a law firm library, but candidates with other law library experience will be considered

• Excellent customer services skills and ability to excel under pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, and SharePoint

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• Extensive experience in the efficient use of legal and business information resources such as Westlaw Edge or Precision, Lexis Advance or Lexis+, Bloomberg Law, VitalLaw, Bloomberg Law, and S&P CapitalIQ, among others

• Knowledge of Texas legal research and resources is strongly preferred

• Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training to attorneys and team members

• Ability to support attorneys and team members in multiple locations, across multiple time zones, using various communication strategies

• Demonstrated ability to work well independently as well as with teams, peers, and clients, and to contribute to efforts to further management’s goals

• Strong and proven public speaking skills to give presentations to large and small groups

• Experience with the EOS integrated library system is a plus

• Experience with Camtasia for production of asynchronous training is a plus

• Knowledge of copyright as it applies to libraries is a plus

• Experience with data gathering, organization, and analysis, and visual presentation of information (e.g., infographics, tables, charts, dashboards) is a plus

Additional Information:

Supervisory Responsibility – This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment – This position operates in a professional office environment.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours – This is a full-time exempt position with an opportunity for a flexible schedule as firm needs permit. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time, with additional hours as required. Participation in a rotational weekend reference monitoring service is required.

Travel – Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Instructor Pilot US 
Responsible for the delivery of flight training in a flight simulator and ground school in accordance with the appropriate regulatory agency, CAE approved curriculum, and customer requirements.   Act as subject matter expert (SME) ready to lead client(s) through their training.  After 1.5+ years, per business needs, designated Instructors are expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.

• Provides simulator/flight or classroom instruction on one or more aircraft types as assigned for the issue of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
• Responsible for conducting pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner in accordance with CAE standards
• Other required administrative duties (completes training records, recommends remedial training when necessary, track his/her own instructional qualifications and activity, etc.)
• Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in creation of curricula and courseware when required

Physical Requirements of this role include:

• The physical dexterity required in performing tasks that require hand / eye coordination and fine motor skills.  
• Ability to sit in a confined space for 4-6 hours at a time with limited breaks
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (as many as 10 hours) with limited breaks
• Ability to sit, stoop, climb and twist and turn

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, the Simulator Flight Instructor I will be responsible for the delivery of training primarily in a flight simulator or other training device, but also when required in ground school, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivery of instructor led training / Part 142 training to CAE customers
• Delivery of ATP/CTP courses – ground school and sim sessions on the A320 platform..
• Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner and in accordance with CAE standards.
• Conduct each simulator session in accordance with the CAE, aircraft manufacturer or the customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). 
• Provide simulator flight instruction for the issue of licenses, type ratings and certificates.
• Complete the appropriate client training records accurately and comprehensively to ensure client understanding and a seamless handover to other instructors.
• Recommend, where necessary, remedial training for a client who is not meeting the required training progress.
• Record simulator usage and discrepancies using the appropriate procedures.
• Track the validity of instructional qualifications to ensure that he/she remains qualified to deliver training at all times in accordance with contractual commitments. 
• Act as subject matter expert in creation of curricula and courseware when required.
• Accept training for examiner responsibilities when required by the Head of Training.
• Act as invigilator when examination is conducted

Qualifications 

• Should be typed on the A320 platform. Need not be current.
• At least 2 years as part of a FAA Part 121 program.
• Ready to work night shifts as required by simulator availability.
• Bachelor degree in job-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Passes in all Airline Transport Pilots License written exams.
• Minimum experience required by the Regulatory Authority issuing instructor rating.
• Hold an existing instructor qualification or -rating issued by a Regulatory Authority desirable.
• Meet the relevant minimum qualification and experience requirements for qualification as a Simulator Instructor.
• Hold or has held a professional pilots’ license.
• A working knowledge of the relevant aviation regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strong customer orientation under adverse circumstances.
• Strong focus on quality with a continuous drive towards process improvement & customer satisfaction.
• Ability to concentrate and work in a fast paced environment. 
• Readily accept changes and adjust accordingly.
• Fluency in English
