Context of the project: In Know Your Customer process, users sometimes need to load data in mass without going through a standard workflow in the application. To do that, they have a set of existing loaders, used to parse input file, perform some controls and load data in the application if the data provided fulfills proper criteria.

Job Summary

As an International Transformation Office Project Associate, you will focus on the development, implementation and on-going support of strategic programs that meet Business, Platform and Regulatory demands. You will perform detailed analyses and define feasibility plans, coordinate delivery of results across different teams and departments, manage and report progress through project plans and other reporting tools, and drive the implementation of business solutions and change management initiatives. The size and duration of each project will vary but the objectives will focus on similar key aspects such as risk mitigation, process efficiency, technology enablement and business development. The Associate needs to have the mindset to integrate into an internal management consulting team.

The International Transformation Office is a program and project management team, focusing on defining strategy, solutions and plans to manage change initiatives impacting the International Private Bank Business. Our Initiatives are business, platform and/or regulatory driven, focusing on business improvement, growth, expansion and enhanced controls. The team works cross-functionally with product specialists, front office advisors, business management, legal, risk management, compliance, operations, technology, middle office, marketing and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

2. Minimum 4 years of experience on business side project management & execution experience in highly complex Financial Institution and/or Management Consulting firm.

3. Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.

4. Dynamic, independent team player and self-starter who possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills in delivering exceptional client experience to both clients and client advisors, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to meet strict timelines and operate with strong sense of ownership and urgency in a demanding and unpredictable environment.

5. Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong proficiency and knowledge in digital tools such as Excel, Word & PowerPoint , JIRA, LLMs and Dashboarding.

Purpose of the role

To support the development of audits aligned to the bank’s standards and objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues, providing accurate information and recommendations, and complying with policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Audit development and delivery support, including financial statements, accounting practices, operational processes, IT systems and risk management.

Step into your next role as a key member of the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Risk, Finance & Treasury (RFT) APAC and Middle East team. You'll provide independent, insightful, and timely assurance to the Board and executive management over the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control of current and evolving risks, in the context of the current and expected business environment and in accordance with the international standards definition of internal auditing. You'll work with teams across the region, providing audit coverage for APAC & Middle East risk management, finance, and treasury, as well as provide support to global risk, finance, and treasury audits. You’ll be responsible for the review and challenge of risk related controls, and timely delivery of audit ensuring completion as per BIA methodology with high quality standards. This role requires a degree and qualification in quantitative discipline (e.g., CFA, FRM, CA, CIA) and good knowledge with proven working experience in financial risk management activities, financial control, treasury, Investment Banking and Corporate Banking products and processes either in the second or third line. Good understanding of the evolving regulatory environment (e.g., Capital Requirements Regulation, Basel I/II/III, Stress Testing, IFRS 9) and hands-on experience in data analytics and coding will be a plus.
