The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Eastern Services, is currently inviting applicants who have a minimum of 6 months NHS experience to join our team of Junior Doctors in the Emergency Department at Exeter for August 2024. We are building our Junior Doctor team with a focus on developing sustainable working practices. Our base full shift rota has recently been redesigned and comprises an attractive 40 hours a week including SPA/Educational Development time. Our team comprises clinicians with subspecialty interest in Paediatrics, PHEM, Research, CESR, Environmental Sustainability, Extreme Medicine, Sports Medicine and much more. The Emergency Department is a modern progressive department and Trauma Unit supported by a dedicated team of 25 Consultant Emergency Physicians providing shop floor leadership from 0800 2300 hours, 365 days a year. Our Medical staffing model enjoys round the clock middle grade cover, 21 person junior doctor rota, with 3 SHOs overnight and is supported by a team of Emergency Nurse Practitioners. We are currently in the final phases of a rebuild providing a new Resuscitation Area, upgraded Majors and Minors space and a separate area for Children. This recent investment both in terms of process and resource to ensure the efficient flow of patients through the Emergency Department aims to provide a productive and rewarding environment in which to work. There is an excellent Departmental Educational Programme for Junior and Middle Grade Doctors and any successful candidate would be encouraged to undertake Quality Improvement activities. Information about the Role:

Working as an RGN (Registered General Nurse) you will:

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long term service users.
• Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times and in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
• Be competent and confident in managing people with long term health conditions.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions/treatments for service users  with complex needs.
• Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for service users (as appropriate).
• Prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex, urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care.
• Recognise and work within own competence level
• Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support, manage and guide support workers on a daily basis.
• Continual personal development to develop oneself and the role.

• Hold a valid NMC Pin
• Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
• Have the right to the work in the UK
• Minimum 2 years experience in a health care setting.

Information about the Service:

We specialise in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical & long term neurological conditions including cancer care, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, epilepsy, brain injury, Huntington's disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, spina bifida & hydrocephalus and stroke. Our Registered Nurse teams are highly skilled and trained to deliver specialist and complex nursing care and have significant experience with tracheostomy, PEG/NG care, wound management and the provision of end of life care.

The full-time support we provide is flexible and designed to help build skills, inspire confidence and empower. We work directly with each individual to develop a personalised support programme based on their needs, wishes and aspirations. This includes personal care, health & wellbeing programmes, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, community engagement, enablement, volunteering and activities.

Beauty Merchandiser – Flexible

Updating and re-sequencing make up stands in major high street retailers, working with leading brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Nyx Professional Make Up, Max Factor, Rimmel and Maybelline.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and updating the stand
Moving parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
Changing over the visuals
Maintaining the stand, keeping it looking fresh for customers that visit the store
Travelling to your depot* for kit collection, which is paid time.

A principal purpose of this job is to improve clinical outcomes for autistic adults. This will be achieved through provision of Speech & Language assessments, and evidenced based interventions, as well as consultation, guidance and advice as part of the post diagnostic provision for autistic adults (DAAIT). The role is provided as part of the countywide service, and requires working closely with local health and social providers.
