About The Role:

• Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their fire protection needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Sales Strategy Execution: In conjunction with the directors and senior team, develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Utilise market research to identify growth opportunities.
• Product and Service Presentation: Present our range of fire protection services, including fire alarms, extinguishers, passive fire protection, and fire doors, to prospective clients.
• Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Expert Fire Solutions and expand our reach.
• Market Intelligence: Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and provide value to clients.
• Customer Feedback and Reporting: Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to help refine service offerings. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.


Experience / Qualifications needed:

• Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the fire protection, safety, or construction industries.
• Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Ability to identify client needs and propose effective solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Self-Motivation: Highly motivated and results-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet clients and attend events.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with fire safety regulations and certifications (e.g., BAFE, BM Trada) is a plus, but not essential – training will be provided.

Your new role
You'll be responsible for the day to day management, leadership and progression of an Assistant QS, and eventually the growth of a larger commercial team.
You'll be experienced ideally working on water projects / frameworks, but we can also consider candidates from a utilities background or highways or heavy civils. Typical project sizes are between £5k and £300k, and some of these projects are extremely fast-paced!

You'll be experienced in working on NEC 3 contracts (options A & B), and have a strong commercial, and progressive mindset. You will be part of a child's whole journey and see the direct impact of a wrap-around care team.You will actively encourage each child to engage with the ethos of A Wilderness Way, but by putting in mechanisms and plans that support the use of the outdoors, to inspire and motivate them. Young people on A Wilderness Way are encouraged to take an active part in decision-making and be involved as much as possible in the design and delivery of the service they receive. You will then stay in the residence overnight and continue to care for the child the following day, followed by a further sleep over. Your shift will finish after your second sleepover at around 9:30am and you will hand over to the next team. You will then be off work for the following 4 days. All sleepovers are paid at £30 per night in addition to your annual salary.

What you'll need to succeed

• A minimum of 12 months social care experience as a Support Worker for either adults or children.
• Passion for helping children.
• Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in the Children's and Young People's Workforce.
• Willingness to complete compliance procedures.
• Full UK manual driving licence holder with access to your own vehicle.
• Experience in dealing with children who are presented with emotional or behavioural difficulties (desirable).
