We are seeking a Qualified Supervising Practitioner / Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our established clients' dynamic Mental Health Support Team (MHST). Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision and practice support to a team of mental health practitioners.

About You: We welcome applicants with a Core Mental Health professional qualification such as (but not limited to):

• CBT Therapist
• Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)
• Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)
• Psychiatric Nurse or Mental Health Specialist Nurse
• Occupational Therapist
• Social Worker

In addition, you will:

• Hold or be willing to work towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision within your first year.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles and clinical supervision.

Essential Requirements:

• Postgraduate experience in a mental health setting with a focus on children and young people.
• Ability to network effectively with external agencies.

Service Care Solutions have a new and exciting opportunity which has become available in the Derby area! The role itself is working a emergency call handler for the elderly who has the emergency button assistance built into their home.

Derby City Council are looking for a new face to join their forever growing team to assist with the inbound calls made from the elderly community who are currently still living in their own accommodation.

The team is a 24-hour emergency monitoring and response service that provides support to people in their own homes through their connection link to their own internal telecare service which is available 24/7 and 365 days a year.

Customers activate a support call at any time 24/7 via the alarm unit installed in their own home and or the sensors attached to it. Our Call Handler Responders will then discuss and assess the nature of the emergency and will action an appropriate response. Responding themselves if required. In the case of a serious emergency, the emergency services will also be contacted.

The role is a full time role working NIGHTS between the hours of 23:00-7:00am on a rota basis currently paying £15.98-£20.00ph

Requirements for the role:

Needing to be a driver

Need to have experience with call handling OR a care background

Enhanced DBS

Previous experience as a team leader/supervisor

Must have previous experience working with the elderly

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Crisis CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to work in NHS Derby on a temporary agency contract.

Working Hours:

• Shifts available Monday to Sunday
• Minimum of 4 shifts per week
• Shift timings: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Pay

• Day- £27Ltd an hour (paid via an umbrella)
• £24.43 Paye Inclusive
• £21.80 Paye Exclusive

There are uplifts at weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assessment & Treatment: Conduct assessments and provide therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs.
• Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Crisis Intervention: Support children and adolescents in crisis, providing timely intervention and management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Safeguarding: Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable young people.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
• Knowledge of mental health legislation and safeguarding practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• A recognised mental health qualification (RMN, Social Work, or equivalent).
• Experience in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) is preferred.
