Qualifications:

Role Summary

The Manager of Project Procurement will lead procurement, supplier relationships, and supply chain management activities for RGE’s projects, especially renewable energy projects. The candidate will manage the procurement lifecycle for all project equipment purchases, including related services. This encompasses sourcing, evaluation and negotiation to contractual completions, for solar panels, energy storage systems, electrical & transmission equipment, subsea cables, and related EPC contractors. Key Responsibilities

Job Description

• Design and execute a regional procurement strategy that supports the company's growth ambitions and improves supply chain effectiveness.
• Source, assess and onboard suppliers to establish a reliable, high-quality supply chain, ensuring compliance criteria and actively driving supplier performance across these key areas.
• Oversee procurement integration during mergers and acquisitions to ensure smooth alignment with corporate objectives and maintain operational efficiencies.
• Implement cost-saving measures through strategic sourcing, skillful negotiation, and process improvements while consistently meeting quality and service benchmarks.
• Perform detailed analyses to guide informed buy-or-make decisions, optimizing procurement activities and resource allocation.
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing procurement team, providing hands-on direction and ensuring the effective rollout of procurement strategies.

The Successful Applicant

• 10-15 years of relevant procurement experience, particularly in the semiconductor and high-precision manufacturing industries.
• Proven success in integrating procurement functions, supplier onboarding, new product introduction (NPI) projects and leading regional procurement operations.
• Deep understanding of supply chain management practices within APAC
• Demonstrated ability to implement cost reductions and streamline processes.
• Extensive experience in building and managing high-performing teams.

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, Evaluation, Contracting and vendor management.
• Liaising with the China office for rate negotiation, bidding, invoicing.
• Identifying potential new suppliers, conducting due diligence, and managing supplier onboarding processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• conduct regular analysis of procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and process improvements.
• Conducting supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/business administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement. Experience in furniture procurement, Real Estate and hospitality industry are advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost savings initiatives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Be well versed in creating and using Excel spreadsheets with complex formula.
• Proven record of working independently, a self-starter.
• High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
• Strong team playing skills.
• Act with utmost integrity.
