We are looking for a buyer to support in category strategy development, execution, and sourcing activity, ensuring supply chain solutions are fit for purpose, aligned to business needs, and represent the lowest total cost, optimal service, and highest quality with relevant impactful supply base innovation.

You should be capable of working on complex high level sourcing activities and negotiations, identifying new and more competitive sources of supply, liaising with suppliers to resolve issues, manage and support a wide range of internal stakeholders, as well as support for the development and delivery of annual targets and goals for cost and quality. You will also work on the roll-out and maintenance of a new Supplier Management Program covering all strategic and preferred suppliers, reviewing current processes and procedures and identifying areas for improvement.

Duties

As a suitably experienced purchase ledger administrator, with knowledge of managing high-volume invoice accounts, you'll be working within the company's head office in Kings Norton B30 3HX. With responsibility to ensure all administrative tasks are completed in line with the companies operating procedures. Particular duties will include reconciling invoices and bank records, processing subcontractor and purchase ledger invoices, processing inter company recharges and other associated recharges along with maintaining an orderly purchase ledger. As a Store Manager, your role is critical in the operational running and success of your store. You will lead by example, being responsible for motivating and supporting a diverse team to deliver against key targets that drive the success of your store.

Contracted Hours: 37.5
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (9 Months)
Pay Rate: £33,000 per annum

With a Talent, Passion and Spark, you will:

• Have a passion for all things selling and customers; leading by example, providing fantastic service to all your customers, and coaching your team to do the same
• Be responsible for delivering the store’s daily, weekly and yearly targets, and ensuring your team know what they need to do each shift to deliver what’s required
• Review store performance and action plans – feeding back any challenges
• Utilising your key holders, ensure your store is opened and closed at the correct times, adhering to all security procedures
• Prepare and issue store rotas
• Be responsible for the stock inventory, ensuring actions are implemented to minimise stock loss
• Be passionate about coaching and mentoring staff; setting them up for success by conducting regular 1:1’s, monitoring performance, and recognising achievements
• You look for talent, passion, and spark when recruiting for your store, recognising that a great team are key to store performance

The Job

• Working as part of a team providing excellent customer service wherever there is interaction with one of our customers
• Using forklift trucks, but don't worry full training will be provided
• We sell building materials, so there will be an element of manual handling, we can make reasonable adjustments if you need them
• Unloading, booking in and management of all incoming stock
• The contracted hours for this role are 37 or more
