We’re looking for a number of compassionate and friendly Contact Centre Advisors to join our Croydon/Maidstone teams, supporting the continued success and growth of our Customer Contact Centre.



Working in our fast-paced Contact Centre you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, where calls can be demanding and challenging at times.



Dealing with customer queries, including income collection, housing and tenancy management, repairs and complaints, you’ll provide a high quality inbound and outbound service through our traditional telephony, email systems as well as our emerging multi-channel platforms.

Training: Please note successful applicants will be required to undertake an 8-week training programme, which will take place at our office in Croydon or Maidstone (depending on which location you apply for). The start date will be either 16th December or 6th January (we will confirm this prior to interview). You will be required to attend on a full-time basis; Monday to Friday, with no annual leave during this time.

Our East Sussex Domestic Abuse Service is seeking two Support Officers to join our dynamic team in East Sussex.

Alongside providing general needs housing, Clarion also delivers support services to some of the most vulnerable people in society.  Our work supporting individuals and families who have experienced domestic abuse offers our customers the opportunity to move on and live fulfilled, safe lives following the trauma they’ve experienced.  The role of Support Officer whilst challenging at times, is an extremely rewarding one.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you need to have a good understanding of domestic abuse issues including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children, ideally having previous experience in a similar role. We’re looking for people who have the qualities and skills we feel would most benefit our clients; professionalism, empathy, kindness and understanding, and a desire to develop their knowledge and skills to best support our clients.

As a Support Officer, you’ll work alongside internal and external colleagues including statutory and voluntary support services in East Sussex to help our customers and their families stay safe and recover from abuse.

You’ll help to ensure residents' safety with health and safety at the foremost of your work practice, including fire safety checks and a practical approach to the upkeep of housing maintenance in the refuges. You’ll use a person-centred, trauma informed approach to assess the customers’ needs and create an individual support plan with them.

The Support Officer role is varied and includes assisting customers to access welfare benefits and manage debt issues, advice to manage their tenancy/license with Clarion, enabling access to legal help and to attend court hearings or child protection meetings, providing access to counselling, therapeutic support and education services for them and their children, enabling access to substance misuse and mental health services and support to move on to appropriate, safe, longer-term accommodation.

As part of the refuge team, you’ll provide resettlement services to customers who have moved into independent accommodation, and you’ll have a key role in ensuring the refuge is a safe and welcoming place to live and work.

You will be a part of the on call out of hours service for the refuges which will involve you being on a rota to receive emergency calls overnight or weekends (5-6 times a month). There is a generous remuneration for this on top of your basic pay.

Clarion Housing in partnership with the Amy Winehouse Foundation is seeking a Recovery Project Manager to manage all aspects of the recovery housing projects managed by Clarion and delivered in partnership with the Amy Winehouse Foundation. You’ll support the needs of women in recovery from drugs, alcohol and other addictive behaviours within our recovery housing project, Amy’s Place, in East London.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll supervise and develop the support staff and co-ordinate the assessment, review and support work within the building. You’ll ensure that the property is effectively managed, this includes repairs, maintenance, services, utilities, safety, security, rent and service charge collections.

We provide homes and services to support young women who have completed a programme of rehabilitation for drugs and/or alcohol and who are ready to move on to second stage recovery housing. Each tenant will be committed to abstinence from all mind-altering substances including legal highs and non-prescribed prescription drugs. The project aims to bridge the gap between residential care facilities and isolated independent living in the community through the provision of decent safe temporary housing and high quality, recovery based support.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a highly motivated individual with experience of working with people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and associated addictive behaviours. The ideal candidate will also possess an in depth knowledge of mutual aid programmes such as 12 Step Programmes or SMART Recovery as well as experience of support planning and risk assessment within a supported environment.

We welcome applications from candidates with a history of substance or behavioral addictions or problematic substance use. In this instance, applicants will need to have been in stable recovery for a minimum of 2 years, not including any time spent in treatment.
