Derwentside College’s Business and Professional and Childcare Department have developed long-standing partnerships with several leading employers, predominantly in the North East of England. As such, we are fortunate enough to be training some of the country’s most talented Apprentices. Having a keen eye for detail will mean that you will be able to articulate information clearly, concisely and accurately in a way that engages, convinces and influences others. The role will also involve assessment of a small caseload of Apprenticeship learners in either the Business and Professional Services or Childcare sector and will also include some IQA coordination.
As a successful Assistant Apprenticeship Manager, you will also have experience of raising standards and improving team performance by setting measurable key performance indicators. You will have the experience that will allow you to monitor and improve quality and compliance across the department, as well as being the main point of contact for awarding bodies. The successful applicant will be commercially driven, with a strong business acumen and a high level of personal integrity.
What’s in it for you?
