Client
- End-to-end management of client projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the agreed quality standard
- Be the client’s “trusted advisor” – Manage, develop and grow client relationships and expectations
- Create, own and implement the clients’ marcomms plan
- Ensure the quality of outputs from the team exceeds client expectations and Fifth Ring standards
- Provide clients with creative and dynamic ideas and recommendations
Company
- Contribute at a senior level to the output from the team
- Activate client account growth plans across all product and service lines
- Support agency Finance team with fiscal forecasting and adherence to accounting processes and management
- Cultivate and rely on extensive informal networks inside and outside the agency to solve problems
- Work with Regional Director to ensure all work is commercially optimised and all financial risks are mitigated
- Manage the financial health of jobs, including performing regular budget checks and resourcing capacities
- Ensure Fifth Ring processes and procedures are followed at all times
- Provide the business development team support by managing and executing new business negotiations
- Collaborate with Marketing and account servicing teams to market Fifth Ring to new clients
- Support in the development and delivery of new products and services
- Represent Fifth Ring externally at a senior level and network to attract new people and business opportunities
- Set and agree targets both internally and externally (reporting of time analysis and reporting)
- Ensure effective utilisation of resources within team and delivery for clients
- Ensure resources are an exemplar of Fifth Ring and best practice – marketing communications including brand management
- Other duties will be assigned as required and as appropriate
Colleagues
- Co-lead and manage client services team to ensure growth and development, leading to delighted colleagues and clients
- Work collaboratively with colleagues as appropriate and provide support for their professional development
- Work effectively with the Traffic Manager to ensure all client requirements are met, and efficient and cohesive service is provided
- Work with business development, services, and capabilities teams to produce new business proposals as requested
- Cultivate and rely on extensive informal networks inside and outside the agency to solve problems
- Support colleagues in all Fifth Ring locations proactively, creatively and visibly
- Champion cross-function/region collaboration to optimise resource utilisation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
Essential
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing communications agency space, specifically in B2B or corporate communications
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Oversee client portfolio – manage own accounts and guide Client Services team to manage assigned accounts to profitability and neutral, positive variance
- Excellent customer and stakeholder relationship management skills, including active listening, attention to detail, troubleshooting, and proactively management of relationships – both internally and externally
- Clear understanding of the most effective marketing strategy and channels to meet the client's objectives at a strategic and tactical level
- Ability to respectfully challenge both clients and colleagues when necessary, maintain composure under adversity and exercise independent and fair consensus-building skills when conflict arises
- Work with business development and marketing teams to create plans that appeal to clients’ business objectives
- Serve as ambassadors for the Fifth Ring business and are to be visible within the geography they work and internationally as appropriate
- Manage, develop and grow client relationships for retention and growth of the client base
- Well-developed commercial / financial skills, including agreement negotiation and fiscal prudence
- Manage and direct resources with effectiveness and efficiency, delegate responsibilities as appropriate
- Ability to travel internationally as allowed by local government
Desirable
- Degree in relevant field (ideally in communications, public relations, marketing communications, business management, or a related subject)
- Project management experience
- Relevant target industry knowledge
- Highly motivated self-starter, thrive in a performance-driven environment
- Ability to speak a second or third language
