You will support the overall Food & Beverage operation of the hotel to maximize guest satisfaction, team member performance and business results. Operations

• To be aware of the best external competitor offerings in the local market, and to continually work with hotel colleagues to improve our own offerings with the goal of being the best in the market for creativity, service, choice, and value for money.
• Directly responsible for all Restaurants, Culinary and Catering areas, ensuring a smooth running, profitable operation within the framework of the Hotel.
• Supervise the functioning of all Food and Beverage employees, facilities, sales and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved.
• Take personal responsibility for maximizing quality levels of product and service, and guest satisfaction.
• Attain high sanitation standards throughout the Food and Beverage operation by enforcing Anantara’s Sanitation Checklist.
• To ensure that everyone in the departments is properly looking after all hotel property and facilities.
• To ensure that departments conduct a maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.
• Supervise and co-ordinate pricing and preparation of menus, beverage and wine lists, and liaise with local suppliers.

Administration

• Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
• Liaise with HR in all employee matters including interviewing and hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisals, coaching, counselling, and dismissal if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity. 
• With the hotel training manager, identify training needs and develop and deliver the required training for department employees to meet the needs of the business.  Support the training of Departmental Trainers to continue to improve hotel service levels.
• To be a sales champion for the hotel, generating and following up on business referrals and potential sales leads to maximize business for the hotel.
• Above all, to lead by example through hands on approach to motivate our Associate to excel.

Overview:
The Music Director is responsible for curating and managing the musical environment at the hotel beach club, ensuring that the ambiance aligns with the club's brand identity and enhances guest satisfaction. The role involves selecting music, working with DJs and live performers, and overseeing sound systems and events.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curating Music Playlists:

   • Create and maintain music playlists that match the desired atmosphere for different times of the day and special events.
   • Ensure that the music selection aligns with guest preferences and the club's brand.

2. Event Coordination:

   • Plan and coordinate live music events, DJ performances, and other entertainment.
   • Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and attract guests.

3. Talent Management:

4. Sound System Oversight:

   • Ensure the sound system is set up correctly for optimal audio quality.
   • Work with sound technicians to troubleshoot and solve any technical issues promptly.

5. Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., F&B, marketing, guest services) to align music with promotions, themes, and events.
   • Work with event planners and designers to synchronize music with lighting and decor.

6. Trend Monitoring:

   • Stay updated on the latest music trends, popular genres, and technology in the music industry to keep the club’s offerings fresh and engaging.

7. Budget Management:

   • Manage the budget for hiring performers and purchasing music-related equipment.
   • Negotiate contracts with artists and vendors to stay within budget.

8. Compliance and Safety:

   • Ensure compliance with music licensing laws and safety regulations during performances.

As Executive Sous Chef you will be responsible for overall kitchen operations of the hotel. You will train and manage kitchen team members, supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities, estimate food consumption and purchase of food, select and develop recipes. Further you would need to standardize production of dishes to ensure consistent quality, establish presentation, technique and quality standards, plan and price menus, ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
