Job Description
As a BIM Engineer, you will report to the Senior Design Engineer and be responsible for the successful implementation and management of BIM processes in the construction field, specifically focusing on Building Services, Airconditioning, and Mechanical (M&E, ACMV) works. An ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) Installation Site Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the installation of ACMV. Their duties and responsibilities are focus on ensuring the project is completed efficiently, safely, and within budget. Detailed breakdown of their responsibilities shall be as below and but not limited to:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Work Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule all activities related to the installation of ACMV systems, ensuring that work is carried out according to the project timeline.
• Resource Allocation: Ensure that manpower, materials, and equipment are available as per project needs and schedules.
• Coordination with Contractors: Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors involved in the installation process to ensure timely delivery and work execution.

2. Site Supervision

• Site Setup: Oversee the setup of the installation site, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are in place.

Requirements:

Diploma or above in mechanical engineering or related qualification

Knowledge in both M&E services and DfMA Principles, Familiarity with QA/QC process, tools and techniques. Knowledge in Industry Standards. Knowledge in BIM is an added advantage.

Strong independence and good communication in English

Able to work 5.5 days week

Job Description & Requirements

• Report to Project Manager Scope of ACMV works in built environment, for project management.
• Understanding of ACMV engineering and contractual requirements.
• Work with design department to ensure compliance of engineering and safety requirement through design.
• Attend to contractual, cost, schedules, coordination, progress monitoring and project completion
• Preferred area of experiences:

1. Hospitals, Labs, Operating theatres, etc
2. Commercial or industrial building – Warehouses, factories , etc
3. Government projects
4. Data centers

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical engineering, building services, project management or related, with project acmv experience preferred
• Degree in Sustainable Infrastructure may apply
• Safety certified, minimum Bizsafe level 2
• 3 years or more working experience in related fields preferred
• Good language capability (English) both in written and spoken
• Strong independence and leadership in teamwork environment.
• Fresh graduate may apply.
• Knowledge in BIM is added advantage
• Driver license is added advantage
