As a CoStar Sales Associate you will prospect and engage potential clients while managing, nurturing, and growing our existing client base. Promoting both CoStar and LoopNet products, you will have the opportunity to take an entrepreneurial approach to sell, train, and retain your book of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gain a thorough understanding of your clients and their needs
• Become an expert in CoStar’s critical information and marketing solutions including LoopNet, the leading online commercial real estate marketplace
• Complete ownership of the full sales cycle including: prospecting, demoing, closing, onboarding, training and renewing
• Conduct a high level of in person client and prospect product demonstrations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Client facing experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry strongly preferred
• Two or more years of successful outside sales experience in a B2B environment selling Data, Research and Analytic platforms or tools, commercial real estate, financial services, business intelligence, marketing or information providers.
• Proven track record exceeding sales targets and quotas in a consultative sales environment
• Two or more years of experience training clients on how to use a solution post sale
• A current and valid driver’s license (or the ability to obtain a driver’s license prior to start date) is required
• Satisfactory completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check prior to start.  Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws

REQUIREMENTS:

Marketing and Business Development is a key area of the College, responsible for events and the active promotion of the College across many channels, including online. The Marketing and Events Officer is required to assist the Head of Marketing and Business Development with the day-to-day administrative functions of the Marketing and Schools Liaison section, including: internal and external events, marketing communications, updating and monitoring the college website and social media platforms and compiling newsletters.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES To lead on organising and attending events and promoting school liaison. Assist with the monitoring and update of the College’s social media channels, producing creative content Assist with the updating and development of the College’s website Cover for Reception as required Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print, as required Coordinate and attend internal College recruitment events Coordinate and attend recruitment events at external schoolsAssist with the organisation of the College’s annual Education Awards Act as a liaison point between staff in partner/feeder schools and the Heads of Marketing. Arrange visits to feeder schools for Head of Marketing, where required To produce regular digital newsletters, as required. Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials Maintain and update marketing databases To source, attend, report on and write up stories from around the College community To actively build relationships across the College community to encourage whole college involvement in marketing and recruitment. Oversee and supervise students using the Digital Suite in a study capacity Monitor and update Marketing materials around the College campus. Act as point of liaison between Marketing team and student body, including Ambassadors Assist with Alumni development, communications and events To support the Head of Marketing and Business Development with any research or data sourcing, as required. To assist with other Marketing, Communications and School Liaison activities, as requiredTHE PERSON Essential Skills and Characteristics A desire to work in marketing and events A high level of ability in written English, including spelling, grammar and attention to detail A high ability in digital skills, with the desire and potential to make this a key area for growth Ability to prioritise workload and excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for Marketing and Communications Creativity, ideas and innovation. Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills
6 months specialty retail experience, preferred
Prior management experience preferred
Technology proficient and strong business acumen
Works a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English; other languages desirable
High school diploma (or equivalent) required

Position requires associates to:
Constantly move throughout the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, complete floor sets, unpack and replenish stock and complete other tasks; frequently involves prolonged pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching and may involve tight or confined spaces
Frequently operate computerized register system
Respond in person to occasional, unscheduled store banking requirements and store alarms
Adjust or move objects (garment racks, mannequins, etc.) or merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions on a frequent basis; may need to adjust or move objects or merchandise weighing as much as 50 pounds in all directions on occasion and with assistance as available
Retrieve merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level on a frequent basis, which may include climbing an 8-foot ladder; may need to replace overhead lightbulbs, signs, etc. on an occasional basis using an 8-foot ladder
Constantly interact with and assist coworkers and clients and other members of the public
