As an Internal Sales Person, you will provide excellent customer service to our key customers over the phone, face to face in branch or via email to drive customer loyalty.

You’ll manage a live portfolio of current customers whilst proactively targeting and developing new customers into profitable accounts. Our Internal Sales Persons will be the first point of call for key accounts clients. You will need to understand individual client requirements, build rapport & grow your client portfolio.

We are looking for sales minded people, who enjoy talking to clients, love to use probing questions to understand the full picture, and are organised to ensure weekly/monthly & bi/monthly touch points are scheduled in.

You may also support the wider branch team, serving on the Trade Counter and picking and packing products in our warehouse to ensure customers’ orders are completed on time.

Internal Sales Person – Experience & Attributes:

- Must Hold Full Valid UK Driving Licence
- Experience of working in a highly competitive or Target driven customer focused role (B2B, B2C, retail/hospitality)
- Electrical Product Knowledge is advantageous
- A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure

The Role

As an Internal Sales Estimator, you will produce accurate quotes to support our sales process and enable us to win more business.

Ensuring timely and exceptional customer service at every step of the pre-sales journey, you will leave a lasting impression on our potential clients.

Developing an in-depth understanding of our products and processes, you will convert quotes into purchase orders, whilst adhering to all internal procedures.

Responding to customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency, you will consistently meet agreed timelines.

- Request GA drawings and documentation packages
- Administer and progress customer orders efficiently and accurately

About You

To be considered as an Internal Sales Estimator, you will need:

- Experience working in estimating, sales and/or administration within a technical environment
- Experience delivering great customer service
- An understanding of pricing and margins
- The ability to up-sell and cross-sell a range of products
- To be customer focused with excellent networking and communication skills
- At a minimum, AS and/or A-Levels or equivalent

As an intern you will become a full member of Autodesk's Stardew team where you will gain software experience by working with both our web and desktop development teams, but also collaborate with our software engineers, designers, and architects to identify new solutions that meet our quality targets

One product you will contribute to is Model Coordination; a client-side application made possible through using the latest web technology (React, Redux and webGL)

Responsibilities

• You will contribute to quality through the entire development lifecycle, from design to customer release, thereby gaining experience of the software development world
• You will create automated test functionality, and maintaining existing tests using the Cypress Javascript framework
• You will design test cases and completing test procedures, documented within Jira
• You will contribute to our Jenkins continuous integration platform, which automatically assesses application code checks and runs tests on deployment

• Afull-time undergraduate student in an accredited software development related course at the time of internship participation
• An understanding of software testing and quality assurance would be beneficial
