The Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Managing the delivery of engineering and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.

Day-to-day, you'll be resolving specific technical issues and problems, compiling technical reports and accompanying presentations, providing, reviewing and adhering to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements:

• Accountable for designs, developments and determines solutions to problems and issues within a specialist subject area.
• Able to work on a range of engineering problems involving high levels of complexity & uncertainty.
• Provides help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working, and their development.

Registered Nurse Duties: To support the delivery of an effective integrated healthcare service clinical model. To manage a complex clinical caseload. Ensure all clinics and consultations are delivered in a clinically effective and timely way, in line with service needs. Senior Nurse Duties: The post holder will exercise a high degree of personal and professional autonomy and have the ability to plan and reach complex and critical judgments and have decision making skills. To deliver high quality clinical care within the Integrated Healthcare Service for the prison. This will include acute & primary care, long term conditions management, enhanced assessment and diagnostic intervention services and health promotion activities and be in line with the NHS Plan, public health indicators and National Service Frameworks. To demonstrate and provide robust expert clinical skills with a sound understanding of evidence-based nursing practice to provide a pro-active approach to ensure quality and outcome driven practice on a day-to-day basis. To support the development of evidence-based practice in the specialist field and to promote research as appropriate. To participate in managerial and professional clinical supervision programme, to ensure junior staff receive appropriate supervision, training and annual appraisal and to ensure that it becomes an integral part of team practice. To ensure the implementation of effective and appropriate patient centred care planning tools, long-term condition registers and consistent delivery throughout all the prisons within the service. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead, GPs, and other clinicians to meet and review service needs as required To deputise for the Team manager as required To work positively and effectively in a difficult and often hostile environment. Be aware of environmental hazards in the working area; ensure staffs are aware of relevant health & safety policies deriving from the Health & Safety at Work Act. To work in accordance with Trust policies and guidelines To be familiar with Prison Standards, Standing Orders, Circular instructions, Notices to Staff, Health and Safety and all other relevant material to function as an informed practitioner within a prison setting. Carbon60 are looking to recruit a Senior Building Control Surveyor to join a large organisation in Bristol, this is a Permanent position within a stable industry with plenty of opportunities for growth and development.

Location: Bristol (Hybrid) Flexible with home working when not undertaking inspections.

Salary: £48,710.00 with £3000 on call allowance

Contract: Permanent 37 hours per week

The Role:

• To enforce the building regulations and allied legislation in the capacity as a Registered building Inspector under the Building Safety Act 2022
• Manage development proposals through the Building Control Process from the pre-application stage through to completion on site
• Acting as lead officer on major Building Regulation applications
• Provide technical oversight and training of class 2 building control surveyors assisting by working under supervision on complex schemes.

• Demonstrable experience & proven ability to deal with significant workloads in one or more of the following:
  • Building control plan examination or construction inspection services.
  • Building control enforcement/related public protection functions.
  • Structural engineering or fire engineering services.
