About the role

As a Senior Care Assistant at MHA, you will lead and inspire a team of committed care assistants to provide the highest quality of care to our residents enabling them to live later life well. To lead effective healthcare services for prisoners which deliver against required standards, e.g. Key Performance Indicators, Prison Health Performance Quality Indicators , CQC and HMIP.. To demonstrate innovative practice whilst maintaining clinical efficacy, enabling the service to compete as provider of choice to local commissioners. You will need to have a valid RGN Qualification and be registered with the NMC. You should also be flexible, adaptable and have good IT skills.Ideally you will have prior experience of working within a range of healthcare environments .

JOB SUMMARY
To lead the care team during any span of duty, ensuring that a safe, effective and efficient care service is provided which meets the needs of clients and all other agencies GAIN CARE LIMITED work with. To provide care to clients in accordance with their assessed needs.

Overall responsibilities:
• To provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for clients’ safety and dignity
• To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
• To ensure the ongoing safety of clients, staff, and other agencies GAIN Care Limited work with through systematic assessment, monitoring, and reviewing processes.
