We are currently recruiting for a Head of HSES to join our Volker Fitzpatrick business, specifically looking after our Civils and Building divisions, with a portfolio of 30 projects, ranging in value from £500k to £150m. .
You will be responsible for establishing HSEQS policies, strategy, and objectives for Volker Fitzpatrick. Working in close collaboration with divisional HSEQS staff and the Director of HSEQS, deliver and update complicate legislative, corporate, and other requirements.
About you
- Experience of health & safety, environmental & quality management in construction with relevant technical qualifications (e.g. Diploma, NEBOSH) and memberships (e.g. IOSH, IEMA, CQI)
- Experience in the building, civil engineering, highways and rail sectors.
- Experience in the application of management systems across multiple operating companies.
- A qualified 9001, 14001 and 18001 Lead Auditor.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability and self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally at all levels.
- Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills
- Demonstrable achievement in a senior role.
- Leadership skills to promote and drive improvement in the HSEQS performance, systems and processes.
