This is a highly visible role that will work across the UKI division to support the delivery of the people agenda with a creative approach to communication and engagement.

•Strong Nursing Home Manager experience (essential)
•Qualified Nurse (RGN/RMN) (desirable)
•Proven track record of making and sustaining improvements within a care home environment
•Lives within West Yorkshire

Day to day role of a Nursing Home Turnaround manager:
•Supporting home managers in improving and achieving good CQC grades and improving the lives of the residents of multiple homes
•Covering managers sickness, annual leave and interim mgmt.
•Helping with audits, budgeting, occupancy and reducing agency use
•Building and improving positive relationships with key stakeholders
•Multi site role covering West Yorkshire

Basic Salary: £57,000 - £67,000 + £3,000 car allowance

Location: To support schools in the North of the Country

Reports To: Managing Director of Education

Job Purpose:

The role of the executive Headteacher is to:

• Provide effective leadership and management to a group of schools within the Polaris Community
• Drive community-wide improvement priorities
• Ensure that the schools in the community are delivering high-quality provision and securing the best outcomes for pupils
• Promote a culture of unity and collaboration among the schools in the community

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified teacher status
• Degree
• National professional qualification for headship (NPQH)

• Successful leadership and management experience in a school
• Teaching experience
• Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning
• Demonstrable experience of successful line management and staff development

Skills and Attributes:

• Data analysis skills, and the ability to use data to set targets and identify weaknesses
• Understanding of high-quality teaching based on evidence, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve
• Understanding of curriculum development
• Understanding of school finances and financial management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate a vision and inspire others
• Ability to build effective working relationships
