An experienced, motivated, and ambitious Assistant Team Manager to work alongside our Team Manager to lead and support service delivery, and to provide high quality support and supervision to team members in our Caledonian & Groupwork Team, which currently delivers the Caledonian System and MF:MC, with plans to roll out MF:2C later this year.
The Assistant Team Manager will work as part of the Justice Services Management Team to deliver services in line with the vision, values, legislation, policies and procedures for Justice Services, both locally and nationally and specifically the delivery of accredited groupwork programmes.
Applicants must be trained in all relevant risk assessment tools and have significant operational experience in justice social work practice. You must be an accredited groupwork practitioner with experience of operational delivery, and ideally treatment management, of accredited groupwork programmes for men convicted of sexual and domestic abuse offences to apply for this post. You will have a strong understanding of the Caledonian System, including the victim experience, and be committed to the values and principles underpinning the delivery of interventions to men who commit sexual or domestic abuse offences.
