Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious Sonographer to join its highly motivated Radiology Team at The Royal Bolton Hospital and fulfil the role of an Ultrasound Clinical Tutor.

The Person

Reporting directly to the Lead Sonographer, you will be independently responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of the practical aspect of the University courses implemented within the department. You will also be a senior member of the ultrasound team with responsibility for coordinating and delivering specialist clinical training and education to the sonographers, midwife ultrasound practitioners (MUP’s) and ultrasound trainees. Alongside training and educational responsibilities, you will be responsible carrying out and reporting on specialised ultrasound examinations to a high standard and in a professional manner. Holding a post graduate ultrasound qualification you will have excellent clinical skills, and experience. In addition to qualifications in either general medical, obstetric and gynaecological scanning, it would be advantageous to have experience across a wide range of examinations.

In order to apply for this post you must be an experienced sonographer and possess PGC/D in Medical Ultrasound. Registration on the voluntary SCoR sonographer or HCPC or NMC registration is also expected.

The Role

You will work closely with the sonography team, senior colleagues and radiologists across the Trust, to develop and maximise training and education within the ultrasound service with a focus on the ultrasound trainees within the department. Band 3 Medical Support Secretary - Cardiology 37.5 hrs per week

We are looking for a highly organised medical support secretary, with previous experience in a similar setting to undertake this role within the Cardiology Service, based at the Royal Bolton Hospital. You will work alongside Senior Medical Secretaries and carry out clinical typing and co-ordination of patient’s case notes/test results, amongst other office duties.

Candidates should be articulate, capable of undertaking a demanding workload and able to demonstrate a significant level of initiative. Candidates should possess advanced keyboard skills including word processing skills to at least RSA II or equivalent level /experience, also English Language and Maths GCSE Grade C or above. Previous secretarial experience, knowledge of and audio typing is essential.

You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise workload and be able to work with little supervision. What skills and experience we're looking for

Main Duties:

• Preparation, service and clearing of food.
• Safe handling, storage and record-keeping associated with this activity.
• To assume the short-term responsibility for managerial responsibilities during any absence of the catering manager, leading the team and liaising with the Trust Catering Manage and Academy Business Operations Manager as required

Job title: PCV Mechanical Engineer
Location: Bolton
Hours: Varied Shifts, 4 days out of 7 (38 hours a week)
Reporting to: Engineering Manager.

As a PCV Mechanical Engineer you will service, maintain and repair our fleet, in a safe, efficient and economical manner to the required legal, regulatory and company standards

PCV Mechanical Engineer Duties:

- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle types
- Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment
- MOT preparation
- Repair all vehicles as required to company and DVSA standards
- Maintain and complete vehicle and Company documentation
- Liaising with the parts department to attain correct parts
- Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
- Advantageous Qualifications and Experience

PCV Mechanical Engineer Skills:

- Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in the automotive industry.
- PCV Licence or willing to work towards acquiring this
