Prime Function:

• Optimizes work productivity by effectively scheduling and allocating all available resources and recommends changes in methods, equipment, design, staff, to EHK in order to improve departmental standards/productivity and ensures implementation of the same
• Ensures cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the hotel
• Ensures adherence to company and hotel policies by all departmental employees
• Plans the organization of work within the department, including assignments, time schedules and vacations
• Ensures all relevant documentation and records
   are updated and complete
• Ensures guest requirements and requests are promptly and efficiently responded to in order to achieve customer satisfaction
• Any matter which may affect the interests of the hotel should be brought to the attention of the Management.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management

• Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of the hotel to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
• Interact with guests and personnel of the hotel in an efficient and friendly manner.

• Provide effective support to the team to enable them to provide a range of effective and efficient services.
• Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions.
• Motivate and develop staff to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.

Financial Management

Operational Management

Administration:

• Daily closing stock of mini bar store
• Prepare store requisitions and draw items for general store
• To update pending maintenance list
• To monitor the performance of desk
• Responsible for the operation of department in the absence of the EHK / AEHK.
• Maintain the housekeeping store and stock record by constant updating of receipts and issues
• To ensure items are ordered before they reach the defined reorder level.
• Responsible for the periodical physical Inventory of items in store and circulation Uniform, linen, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, Operational equipments and capital equipments

Linen and uniform room:

• Routine checks on the condition of the linen and uniform and the quality of processing
• Assign job to tailor
• Inventory control of linen and uniform by conducting month end inventory
• Quality audit – replacing worn out items with new ones from store, and regular discards
• Issue of uniforms for new staff 
• Strictly adhere to exchange procedure and loan procedures
• Submit required reports to EHK
• Ensure laundry, linen and uniform room are pest free
• Ensures all maintenance are reported on time to engineering department and timely action is taken

Guest floors:

• Routine checks on the floor staff, condition of the linen and uniform, supplies, equipments and trolleys
• Responsible for providing hygienically clean, safe and comfortable rooms with effective amenities and mini bar by checking all rooms critically and inspecting them
• Plan for PMP schedule
• Check occupancy reports and follow up with concerned personnel on thorough cleaning conducted, and status of under repair rooms
• To ensure availability of rooms at all times based on arrival-departure pattern of the hotel by clearing departure rooms on priority and avoiding major break down in rooms by regular preventing maintenance programme.
• Responsible for the activities of all floor staff and housekeeping attendants under her jurisdiction
• Responsible for cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of all areas- pantries, trolleys, shafts, corridors, elevator landings, staircases etc
• Responsible for smooth operation of the shift by ensuring all equipments are in good working condition and sufficient quantity of linen, and guest and cleaning supplies are provided to staff
• Reporting defects in all areas and regular follow up with engineering department on pending maintenance
• Reporting irregularities on the floor to EHK – Occupancy reports, damages, missing items, Lost and found properties of guests.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales performance in the designated area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving area sales targets through effective preparation of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives (PSRs), including tour planning and doctor-product matrix development. Additionally, the Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in formulating new product launch strategies, conducting Retailer Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA), and ensuring the sales force is well-prepared and continuously performing. 

Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for on-the-job coaching on brand strategy, regular engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)/Key Business Leaders (KBLs), and implementation of strategic initiatives for doctors, hospitals, and areas.
• You will be responsible for planning the launch of new product, for designing and implementing effective sales plans on a weekly basis, as well as developing quarterly input planners for each Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR). Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager will play a crucial role in training PSRs on product brand strategies, updating the team on product knowledge and related areas, and crafting a comprehensive doctor-product matrix.
• You will be responsible to update communication strategies in accordance with market trends to position products favourably within the industry. Review and approve various requests, such as travel sponsorships, adhering to MCI guidelines and company policies.
• You will be responsible to establish and maintain relationships with purchase officers in hospitals to facilitate streamlined operations and maximize sales opportunities.
• You will be responsible to conduct pre-launch Retailer Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA), with chemists and gather competitor information to assess doctor potential, train PSRs for effective product launches, and conduct post-launch reviews for necessary course corrections, aiming for successful product launches and achieving sales targets.
• You will be responsible to collect and maintain comprehensive data from various professional associations. Monitor and map the availability of doctors in the territory and provide necessary support and updates to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Head Office (HO) to ensure stakeholder engagement and product success in the market, 
• You will be responsible to develop detailed implementation plans for new strategy initiatives based on provided guidelines, gather and analyse results and feedback from the team focusing on strategies for particular successful products in hospitals, guided by insights from doctors and PSRs, ensuring effective execution of new initiatives within specific hospitals and areas.
• You will be responsible to perform goal setting, conduct performance appraisals, and provide on-the-job coaching for team members, identifying their training needs and delivering necessary training on new processes. Mentor team members on effective detailing, communication, influencing, and relationship building, with the aim of enhancing team retention and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To understand the SLA and ensure the deliverables on time. To manage various severity levels and Service requests. Regular follow-ups with all the stakeholders involved to ensure on time deliver. 100% Root cause for all the incidents raised.
• End to End analysis on all the high impacting & potentially impacting incidents. To have the clear Root cause tracked till the solution
• To document the knowledge base of all the critical process and functionalities. To track the workaround actions. Application E2E flow documentations to be maintained for both technical and functional perspective. To track the Runbook on the support process to be followed and maintained
• To come up with the automated technical solutions to optimize both operational and technical process. Also need to proactively come with enhancing the system with the technical solution.
• Identify urgent issues and escalate appropriately, participate in Incident and Problem management.
• To have the Rotational shift and provide the support 24 X 7 coverage
• Maintain support documentation - Standard Reporting, Knowledge Base, FAQs, Job Aides
• Ensure compliance to standard NIQ Practices / Tools, ITIL, Google, ServiceNow, and JIRA suite (VM)
