MAJOR DUTIES:  Leads cooks in preparing all types of meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits, sauces, and gravies for menus. 1. Performs Ammunition Inspections pertaining to the receipt, classification, storage, issue and shipment of ammunition items. May receive shipments of all types of ammunition and verify DA form 1348 against Depot surveillance Records for correct NSN and Condition Code. Insures commercial carrier delivering ammunition has been inspected in accordance with regulations and standing operating procedures. Verifies quantity of containers for accuracy of nomenclature, stock and lot numbers against shipping documents and signs for shipments. Receives turn-ins from using organizations, counts each item received and inspects for serviceability.

2. Conducts inspection of ammunition being turned-in to determine suitability for further training needs. Takes appropriate steps in this disposition of CCH material. Ammunition Condition Reports (ACRs) are prepared and sent to item manager for disposition of restricted and/or suspended items. If disposition is determined to be locally demilitarized; contact designated EOD team and assist with demilitarization mission.

3. Prepares items for shipment to other depots and/or installations. Using the correct DOT regulations and packing requirements, makes sure all shipments meet DOT requirements. Items to be shipped are palletized and banded according to the hazard class division. Takes each pallet and establishes the correct weight and cube. Uses appropriate technical manuals, determines the proper name and UN number. Using this information, the appropriate 1348's are filled out and sent to Transportation Officer.

Studies new material to determine how it functions, how it is constructed and compatibility for storage purposes according to technical manuals.
Conducts observations and inspections of ammunition: In storage, inspects ammunition for corrosion from moisture and deterioration. Inspects for dents, loose detonators/fuses, discoloration and softness of dynamite and stains from nitroglycerin. Marks defective ammunition as prohibited for issue. Inspects ammunition of using organizations to determine its condition. Ensure that safety and storage requirements are properly observed. Responds to units which have misfires and/or malfunctions with ammo items.

4. Verification Inspection. Performs a variety of routine and special inspections of conventional ammunition. Performs quality monitoring of maintenance operations, area inspections magazine storage inspections and basic load inspections. Assists QASAS when requested. Maintains a variety of publications, regulations and files pertaining to work of the unit. The following are typical, but not all inclusive examples of work performed:

Performs periodic, storage and special inspections and tests to determine quality safety and condition of a wide variety of ammunition, subcomponents, and materials used in the maintenance, modification and manufacture of ammunition items. Inspects such items as small arms ammunition, artillery and mortar ammunition, rockets, missiles, mines, grenades, bulk high explosives, propellants and propelling charges, etc. Inspects container, checks rounds and other items for defects and deterioration, and separates any questionable items for further inspection. Under the technical direction of a Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) or designated representative, assists in the disassembly of ammunition and components to make inspections. Uses Ammunition Peculiar Equipment to perform mechanical and electrical tests of ammunition, rockets and small missiles. Assists QASAS or designated representative in reassembling and repackaging ammunition items. Selects, marks, and packs test samples for shipment.

• You will develop, implement and coordinate rework requirements while evaluating and controlling the extent of the rework.

The primary duties of the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Clinical Counselor are to:

• Deliver comprehensive FAP services to active duty Marines, their family members, and others as authorized by Department of Defense (DoD) policy.
• Provide non-medical counseling, screening, assessment, evidence-based and informed interventions, service planning, and clinical case management services. Comprehensive non-medical counseling services consists of individual, couple, family and group sessions.
• Provide services to clients that address emotional problems, behavioral problems, life stressors, domestic abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behaviors in children and youth (PSB-CY).
• Conduct psychosocial assessments with individuals, couples and families and make recommendations for services. Include client in service plan development. Exercise clinical judgment to apply expertise in conducting initial assessments to match the client¿s needs to the most appropriate resources. Conduct ongoing risk assessment and conduct immediate safety planning. Report any suspected child abuse and/or domestic abuse as required by policy and mandated by law.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups, classes, and workshops that focus on both prevention and intervention with child abuse, domestic abuse, and PSB-CY. Topics may include anger management, relationship skill-building, effective and healthy communication, and understanding and eliminating power and control.
• Plan, develop, and implement services and initiatives designed to foster positive healthy relationships within the family structure. Develop and maintain professional standards of service, community referral resources, and maintain a close network with the clinical staff and other service providers.
• Complete and maintain appropriate documentation related to: intake paperwork, screening tools, risk assessments, safety plans, clinical counseling notes, individualized service plans, clinical case management, collateral notes, contact details, and other documentation as required by FAP policy.
• Participate in the confidential Clinical Case Staff Meeting (CCSM), which provides clinical recommendations for supportive services, non-medical counseling for victims of child abuse, domestic abuse, or PSB-CY, coordinated case management including risk assessment, ongoing monitoring of child abuse and domestic abuse victims¿ safety, clinical intervention, and appropriate service delivery for alleged abusers who are eligible for services at the military treatment facility.
• Prepare and participate in the administrative process of the Incident Determination Committee (IDC). Communicate the IDC incident status determination to commanders and others who have a need-to-know status.
• Provide direct services to include screening, assessment, non-medical counseling, safety planning, and referrals with children exhibiting and those impacted by PSB-CY as well as to the family members. Participate in and provide input to the PSB-CY multi- disciplinary team and attend monthly case review meetings. Maintain case records and track statistical data in accordance with Limits of Confidentiality, Privacy Act, and higher headquarters policy.
• Establish and maintain command and military community relationships. Collaborate with other military agencies to support and meet client needs. Coordinate with military investigative agencies, military and local civilian law enforcement agencies, and civilian child welfare agencies in response to reports of child abuse incidents.

I. FAP Clinical Case Management
Serve as the FAP clinical subject matter expert on domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect. Consult with installation leadership, medical professionals, and service/family members regarding clinical needs assessments, determining clinical intervention, and utilizing treatment strategies. Follow all processes, per Regional and local Standard Operating Procedures, Counseling Desk Guidance, and FFSP Certification Standards, and FAP Case Record documentation. Conduct initial and on-going FAP clinical assessments with and provide intervention services for active-duty members and their families, including clients who are at risk for domestic violence and child abuse. Triage, coordinate safety and treatment planning, and establish individualized treatment goals tailored to the needs of service/family members. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, incident assessments to identify high-risk situations, e.g., suicide or homicide risk, the danger-increased risk of additional family violence. Conduct clinical interviews to assess individuals determine the facts concerning the client's problems and to assess the needs of the client. Provide initial and ongoing case management services to include identifying the situation; comply with and educate on mandated reporting protocols of child and domestic ; conducting risk and lethality assessments, coordinate safety planning, planning clients' treatment; provide referrals, and follow-up on child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse allegations. Provide clinical treatment for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on family maltreatment. Facilitate evidence-based group treatment programs, such as domestic abuse offender's group, parenting group, and victim support group. Coordinate with the assigned FAP Victim Advocate to ensure victims' needs and concerns are addressed. Present complete and concise initial and follow-up case information at Clinical Case Staff Meetings (CCSM); provide information on cases, current safety risks, safety planning, and progress of intervention of the abuser and victim; document results and implement recommendations. Provide referrals and coordinate with other providers, as recommended by the CCSM. Notify the Family Advocacy Representative (FAR) for high-risk situations. Coordinate with the FAR to organize all information received from the alleged abuser, alleged victim, law enforcement, command, other collaterals, and incorporate into a concise and understandable presentation for the Incident Determination Committee (IDC). Participate inequality assurance and risk management activities. Per guidance, maintain FAP clinical case records, treatment plans, and required statistical data. Deliver FAP training, and facilitate education services and ongoing communication to inform active-duty military, their families, and community members regarding the problems of family violence, FAP requirements, and the services available to them. Provide after-hour on-call services, as directed, for emergent family advocacy situations, including consulting with command/security, evaluating needs, crisis intervention and stabilization, safety planning, information and referral, and victim advocacy.

II. Community Liaison
Liaison with cities, counties, states, federal and non-government agencies, military agencies, and commands to enhance FAP prevention and response affecting the military community. Represent the Navy at community liaison meetings, educating on domestic violence collaborating on coordinating services for military members and their families, and engaging in community domestic violence prevention and awareness activities. Educate and provide consultation to military and civilian agencies about Navy FAP, risk assessment, FAP treatment, and IDC/CCSM processes. Use forms and automated systems to maintain complete and timely records and workload statistics per guidelines.

III. Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth
Receive reports of problematic sexual behaviors in children and youth (PSB-CY) from military and civilian representatives and take appropriate action. Provide or coordinate clinical services providers for children, youth, and their families, including psychoeducational support, assessment, and clinical intervention. Coordinate with healthcare providers on safety and supervision planning for children and families affected by problematic sexual behaviors. Serve as the designated case manager and primary point of contact for PSB-CY cases ensuring all actions comply policy, instructions, and civilian reporting requirements. Support children and families affected by PSB-CY by providing at-risk and safety planning information to the coordinated community response (CCR). Present initial and follow-up case reviews at the PSB-CY MDT and Clinical Case Staff Meeting (CCSM).
