THE ROLE
As a Housing Management Worker, you will work as part of a dynamic team managing a portfolio of properties and tenancies. They will regularly work alongside the SENCo to assess the needs of our most high profile SEND students and identify suitable provision to ensure their needs are being met and are progressing against their targets. They will be involved in the creation of provision maps and support with the ongoing delivery of these plans. These will be routinely reviewed alongside the SENCo, teachers, students, parents/carers and wider agencies. The post holder will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the inclusion of all pupils and will reflect this in their day-to-day practice. This will include both proactive and responsive provision that reflects the continued and emerging needs of our children.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The post holder will work under the guidance of senior staff to promote positive attitudes towards regular academy attendance and punctuality amongst students and their parents/carers and to encourage them to derive maximum benefit and opportunity from their education. The post holder will also be responsible for implementing an attendance and punctuality programme with measurable and effective improvement strategies and for the planning, development and monitoring of student attendance and punctuality in addition to supporting the overall pastoral function of the school. The post holder will also forge strong links with the community including those from the GRT community.
