The role:

You'll be responsible for the delivery of a responsive and proactive service to our residents to tackle all forms of hate crime, nuisance and anti-social behaviour. Working alongside housing management colleagues, you'll effectively manage your caseload and take forward the highest priority cases. You'll also make and maintain effective working relationships with external agencies, including the police and legal advisors.

Responsibilities include:

Proactively managing a complex caseload whilst seeking creative solutions to achieve positive outcomes for customers
Contributing to shaping sustainable communities and developing an environment that is safe and inclusive for our customers
Fulfilling our landlord responsibilities, including adherence to our policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partner agencies

What we're looking for:

PURPOSE OF JOB: To participate in the provision of an efficient and cost-effective Mortuary service within Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: To contribute to the management of the mortuary storage facility ensuring HTA guidelines and departmental protocols are followed. 1. Financial & Management 1.1 To be aware of the financial constraints within the NHS and Pathology and ensure that there is no unnecessary wastage of supplies or resources. 2. Personnel & Training 2.1 To work closely with fellow mortuary technicians. 2.2 To host mortuary tours for working groups within the trust and visiting FDs, clinicians and retrieval teams 2.3 In conjunction with the Senior APT, to provide and certify training of porters and visiting Funeral Directors in use of mortuary equipment, mortuary process and handling of deceased within the mortuary environment. 3. Service Delivery and Quality 3.1 Assist and support the Site Leads and other staff with all mortuary activities using local SOPs and trust policies. 3.2 To apply to knowledge expected of an Anatomical Pathology Technician, to the preparation of bodies for Post Mortem and be responsible to the Senior/Chief Technician in the delivery of high quality Post Mortem services. 3.3 To ensure the appropriate management of specimens collected at Post Mortem, that is; collection, labelling, safe handling, storage and transportation. 3.4 Assist and maintain clear communication with Consultant Pathologist(s) within the postmortem room. 3.5 To engage in continued growth of the department across site through the quality management systems, HTA, and previous mortuary experience(s). 3.6 Admit and release of deceased patients and understanding the legal documentation in accordance with HTA and trust policies. 3.7 To maintain accurate records of all property that may accompany deceased. 3.8 Understanding of documentation required for the admission, post-mortem, release and disposal of bodies, personal effects, and tissue retention for a scheduled purpose. 3.9 To liaise with the bereavement officer(s), funeral directors and coroners officer in the documentation and release of deceased patients from the mortuary. and with other partners and stakeholders both internal and external to the trust. 3.10 Ensure specimens are labelled and handled in accordance with local pathology policies and HTA requirements. 3.11 To prepare viewings and when necessary, accompanying the relatives into the viewing room includes sympathetic engagement of persons viewing the deceased, to ensure relatives are supported and treated with courtesy, respect, and consideration always. Assist the bereavement officer when required for viewings, collection of forms. 3.12 To assist in the identification of a deceased patient on behalf of HM Coroner and the Police 3.13 Participate and work with colleagues to provide 24-hour service, working flexibly in accordance with needs of the department. The standard on-call for this post is 1 in 3. 3.14 Encouraged to seek further learning opportunities both internal and external to the trust. 3.15 Must ensure mandatory training is completed in a timely manner. De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor are recruiting a Bar Supervisor to support and guide our team of Bar Tenders. Our Bar Team plays a key role in making sure our guests have a memorable and enjoyable visit to the hotel.

As the Bar Supervisor you will take a lead role on the bar creating and serving drinks and engaging with our guests on a daily basis. You will also work closely with colleagues to help develop their skills and knowledge as well as keeping the bar area clean and well stocked at all times.

In return this role offers £25,500 per annum and excellent benefits including free use of the gym facilities, a complimentary 2 night stay with De Vere every year plus additional stays for £50 per room, time off over the christmas period and a paid day off for your birthday in addition to your holidays!

This role involves working a variety of shifts including weekends on a rota basis.

Your skills & experience:
• You have bar experience and ideally some experience of supervising others
• You are confident and guest focused and through an intuitive approach deliver exceptional levels of guest service, making everyone feel welcome
• You are an excellent organiser, with a professional attitude and are able to delegate to others effectively
• You will ideally be familiar with booking systems such as Open Table although this is not essential as training can be provided

Your New Company

The Probation Service is a statutory criminal justice service that supervises offenders serving community sentences or released into the community from prison. You will be based at Manor Lodge Probation Service in Windsor.

Your new role
As a Residential Worker, you'll work as part of a wider team to provide 24-hour cover at an approved premises (AP) site, including security and monitoring services.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to effective team practice, communicating effectively with team members and passing on important information
• Maintaining an active presence at the AP, regularly engaging with residents and ensuring their safety at all times
• Escalating any matters of concern to the AP manager to ensure enforcement or compliance with court orders, licences and AP rules
• Supporting and creating a safe working environment for staff, residents and visitors
• Arranging purposeful activities for residents within the AP
• Reinforcing pro-social behaviour and attitudes and challenging anti-social behaviour and attitudes

This role involves substantial out of hours work, both waking night duty and weekend work. You may also be required to cover duties at other APs at times of staff absence.

Rates and hours:
Core hours - £16.00 hourly (+ holidays)
Weekday Overtime - £17.73 hourly (+ holidays)
Weekend Overtime - £23.33 hourly (+ holidays)

Hours are 12-hour shifts based over a 7-week rota, including nights:
Day shift - 8am-8.30pm
Night shift - 8pm-8.30am

This is a temporary role, 3 months minimum, with the potential to be extended. You will also have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles should they become available.

What you need to succeed
Although no experience is required, a background in security, prisons and probation service or support work would be preferential. You will receive paid training. We will need references to cover 3 years of employment with no gaps (character reference required to cover any unemployment gaps). The background checks include an Enhanced DBS and Enhanced Level 1 Security Clearance, which can take up to 12 weeks to complete before starting your new role.

• Able to manage internal customer relationships with Excellent negotiations skills
• Proven ability to motivate, coach and develop others
• Experience in delivering and developing sustainable compliance objectives
• Commercial awareness with strong presentation, influencing and analytical skills
• Valid full driving licence
