Position Overview
The Commercial Lead will be responsible for the financial management of projects, while also assisting with pricing and estimating. The successful candidate will start off primarily in office fit-out projects but must be flexible and willing to adapt to other sectors such as leisure. Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Pricing: Prepare accurate cost estimates for a range of projects, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with project specifications.
Cost Management: Oversee and manage project costs from start to finish, ensuring profitability and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Contract Management: Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
Risk and Value Management: Identify risks and opportunities, providing cost-effective solutions and value engineering where appropriate.
Project Delivery: Manage multiple projects up to £5 million, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, and quality standards.
Flexibility Across Sectors: Work on projects across various sectors, including office fit-outs and leisure, adapting to different project types and client requirements.
Hybrid Working: Work from the office initially to familiarise with systems and team, with flexible working arrangements split between home working and site, with ability to manage own diary (up to 3 days WFH) once settled.

Key Requirements
Experience: Ideally 5+ years' experience in a Commercial role, with proven ability to carry out estimating duties and handle projects independently.
Experience delivering projects up to £5 million, with a focus on office fit-outs and adaptability to work on leisure and other sectors.
Client-Facing Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building lasting client relationships and managing expectations.
Technical Expertise: Competent in preparing estimates, managing costs, and preparing contract documents such as bills of quantities.
Flexibility: Must be adaptable and open to working across multiple sectors, not restricted to any single industry.
Location Flexibility: Able to travel for projects across the Midlands, and as far north as Stoke.

Three new exciting opportunities have arisen to join an established team of Community Children’s Nurses in Birmingham. This is a city wide service that offers specialist nursing support to children & families with a variety of complex physical health needs.

We provide clinical interventions to children within their own homes, schools and other community locations. The service operates seven days a week and also provides an out of hours ‘on-call’ service.

We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacies, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.

About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative within our Birmingham Distribution Centre.

Are you ready to play a vital role in the dynamic world of warehouse operations? We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Goods In Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and distribution department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, and processing of incoming goods in line with company guidelines and procedures.

You will be responsible for receiving deliveries from supplying depots, validating journey temperatures in line with Good Distribution Practice and checking orders in using an Asset tracking device. You must ensure safe sortation of deliveries received into allocated van routes in a timely manner ensuring Customer orders are ready for dispatch.

Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate efforts to achieve operational excellence.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.

Training and Support

You will receive a comprehensive induction from the Learning and Development Facilitators.
