Responsibilities of our Travel and Tourism Lecturer:


Deliver high-quality, engaging and challenging teaching and learning, employing innovative and interactive teaching methods to ensure stretch, challenge, and engagement of students of all ages and abilities
Leading, coordinating and supporting course activities to achieve curriculum area targets, including collation and submission of financial claims to appropriate funding bodies and partners as required
Planning, preparing and updating all relevant teaching documentation including schemes of work, lesson plans and online learning materials using Canvas
Facilitating academic tutorials, contributing to marketing, promotion. Recruitment and interviewing of students and participating in open events, schools tasters and enrolment events.
Assessing, monitoring and recording timely feedback to students, leading IV/IQA processes, and contributing to quality assurance processes and curriculum design within the area.
Maintaining up to date knowledge of the subject specialism by attending appropriate professional/ vocational updating.
Attend meetings and communicating with colleagues within the curriculum area as and when required
Leading, coordinating and supporting course activities that will support the achievement of curriculum area targets.
Accurately carry out the qualification completion process within the departmental systems in a timely manner

Specialism in Criminology, and Law include a qualification at level 4 or above (Fdsc or BA)
Cert. Ed/PGCE or willingness to work towards
Previous experience in teaching subject specialism including BTEC and WJEC qualifications

The ability to work as a professional team member and able to liaise with tutors, employers, awarding bodies and other agencies

Whilst a background in special needs is not essential, a strong understanding of the needs of learners with ALN and/or social, emotional and mental health needs would be a adventitious.
The successful applicants will be expected to cover classes in the absence of the class teacher and must be passionate about teaching and learning. It would be an advantage to have experience of working with pupils with Additional Needs.
Applicants must meet the HLTA requirements or have equivalent qualifications / experience.

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a membership body in search of a temporary Training Administrator to provide support and guidance throughout training programmes and administering the online system for maintaining anaesthetic training records.

The is a full-time temporary position for 4 months paying £20.30 per hour umbrella with a hybrid working model of 3 days from home, 2 in the office.

The temporary Training Administrator will be responsible for:

• Provide support and guidance to applicants and assessors on the process and requirements
• Coordinate the timely review, assessment and recommendations of all applications
• Maintain training records in the relevant systems and applying housekeeping protocols effectively

The temporary Training Administrator will need to have:

• GCSE maths and English at grade C or above - or equivalent
• Previous experience of working in an administrative role for a membership body or council
• Proficient in working with all Microsoft Office applications - including Outlook, Word, Excel, Sharepoint
