The HR Assistant (Recruitment & Placement) Onboarding Team supports the Human Resources Management Service at all facilities within VISN 1. The work consists of accomplishing HR assignments and processing administrative tasks. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting onboarding related tasks to hire personnel into the agency/facility ensuring they meet all regulatory and legal obligations;
- Conducting New Employee In-processing (NEI) during New Employee Orientation (NEO);
- Providing assistance to customers and stakeholders onsite;
- Maintaining electronic personnel records (e-OPF);
- Entering new employee/applicant data into electronics systems/databases (ex. PIV system, IT tickets, USA Staffing, etc.);
- Maintaining databases in order to track information and extract data used to generate documents, records, and reports;
- Instructing facility supervisors and managers on recruitment/selection requirements, processes, and procedures;
- Works other HR Assistant assigned taskings.
Work Schedule: : Full-time, Monday - Friday; Tour of Duty will be set between hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm.
