The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on a Pharmaceutical Innovation Programme Singapore research project where you will be part of a collaborative team exploring innovative ways of understanding extrusion processing for pharmaceutical drug materials and products using rheological measurements.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will characterize mixtures of pharmaceutical excipients and drug materials to develop methodologies for screening hot-melt extrusion formulations and selecting optimal operating conditions using rheology, with the objective of producing amorphous-solid-dispersions. You will validate the developed processing space and operating conditions for extruded pharmaceutical formulations using a lab-scale extruder. In collaboration with researchers at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART), you will characterize the physical properties and performance of intermediate pharmaceutical drug products. The created methods will be transferred to the industrial partner to enhance their product development process using rheological characterization.

More specific responsibilities include:

• Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.
• Undertake characterization of pharmaceutical active ingredients, polymeric excipients, and plasticizers for producing amorphous-solid-dispersions.
• Perform lab-scale hot-melt extrusion of pharmaceutical materials to validate predicted processing conditions and product outcomes.

Job Requirements

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Associate (Computational and Laboratory Biology) in the Department of Biochemistry, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Purpose of the post

The successful candidate should have a strong background in both mathematical/machine learning methods and biological laboratory techniques. He or she will also be responsible for data analysis and for developing computational models, algorithms, and tools to analyse and interpret complex biological datasets derived from multi-omics data. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of statistical and machine learning methods, as well as expertise in programming languages such as R and/or Python with training in biology, biochemistry or a related discipline. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Associate will work with other team members to develop and validate biological ageing clock algorithms, and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The Research Associate will be able to:

A Research fellow position is available in Dr. Anand Andiappan Laboratory at the Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN). The successful candidate will support the research work that focuses on studying inflammaeing in the context of skin aging in Asian populations.

The candidate will work on primary cells from cohorts and cell culture systems towards understanding functional immune responses in skin immune interactions and recapitulating them in in-vitro and ex-vivo systems. Responsibilities:

• You’ll be involved in the development, design, build, testing, and go live phases of multiple integration projects.

• You will also work with internal teams to continuously improve processes and procedures around deployment of interoperability products that communicate in HIT standards-based formats such as HL7, IHE Profiles, Direct, or SMART on FHIR.
• The Integration Engineer oversees the development of new interfaces and maintain the sandbox environment up to date for application testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience in HCIT integration using established and contemporary interoperability standards (e.g. HL7, SMRT, FHIR)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, and communication using secure protocols.
• Ability to work in a team environment alongside developers and deployment teams.
• Utilise engines like Mirth Connect or Rhapsody to have a standard way of integration using both HL7 and DICOM
• Knowledge in developing and configuring Context Launch requirements according to AES 256 standards.

• Experience with cloud deployments and/or pipelines, especially Pivotal Cloud Foundry
