Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum + company car, bonus, and private medical insurance

We have an opportunity for a Management Systems and Information Manager to join the team and be responsible for the development and integration of all key Environmental Services specific software architecture, systems, and applications used across the business unit.
As Management Systems and Information Manager you will ensure that technical concepts are understood by all stakeholders. You’ll work with business and wider technology teams to translate business problems into technical solutions, creating an optimal solution through an iterative process that aligns with user needs, system requirements, and organisational objectives.
Your main responsibilities:
- Manage development and integration of Environmental Services specific IT systems and applications.
- Build and maintain valuable relationships with third-party vendors and critical suppliers.
- Oversee internal support team and ensure KPIs and SLAs are met.
- Assist with system upgrades, updates, testing, and integrating new features.
- Optimise performance to meet business requirements and review upgrades and fixes from software suppliers.
- Adhere to internal service standards for ICT team and maintain compliance records.
- Maintain procedures for support requests, ensuring timely response and investigation of service problems.
- Provide leadership and supervision to direct reports.
What you’ll need to do the role
- Ideally you will be working as a Management Systems & Information Manager or similar with a BSc or HND in computer-related discipline or qualified by experience.
- Operational system/application support experience in the waste industry is advantageous.
- Proven experience managing a team effectively.
- Experience working with waste management software platforms.
- Experience with MS Office 365 and the MS Power Platform.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills including translating technical information and requirements to a non-technical audience.
- Comfortable presenting and communicating technical information to individuals at all levels of seniority within an organisation.
