Responsibilities:

The IT Service Analyst will report directly to the Senior IT Service Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Acting as the first point of contact between the Pensions Dashboard Programme, clients, and the third party supplier’s Service Management Teams
• Triaging of enquires coming via the service management tool and ensuring they follow the internal ITIL support process
• Suggesting improvements to the support/knowledge process
• Monitoring of supplier performance against Service Management service level agreements (SLAs) (e.g. Change, Incident, Problem, Availability, Release)
• Analysing and suggesting improvements to the Service Management processes to ensure that they are fit for purpose and use
• Reporting on trend analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to service and supplier performance when required
• Providing feedback on Supplier Monthly Service Reports and Service Review Meetings as well as other relevant Service Management meetings (e.g. problem management reviews, post implementation reviews)
• Additionally, ensuring that actions are recorded and followed up from all relevant Service Management meetings
• Ensure that tickets are logged within the supplier’s Service Management tools (Problems, Changes, Release, Incidents) are fully documented recording the full incident timeline of events

*Please note this role will require frequent travel to London, that will be expensed.

Skills and Experience:

You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Ideally, you will have an ITIL qualification
• Experience of working in an ITIL environment – including but not limited to Change, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Service Transition Management.
• Experience of using Service Management tools (e.g. Service Now, Jira Service Management)
• Experience working with third party suppliers and internal Stakeholders
• Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with and influence multiple internal and external teams to ensure processes are in compliance with guidelines
• Ownership of issues with the supplier in the first instance but know when to involve relevant team members and when to escalate.
• Good decision-making skills and experience
• Experience of building and reviewing ITIL Processes

My client and established and expanding Fire Protection solutions provider are currently looking to recruit an experienced Field Service / Maintenance Engineer, specialising in Fire Suppression Systems.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for attending assigned visits to customer sites and premises nationwide to perform scheduled electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault diagnoses and repair of fire suppression detection systems. Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Bedfordshire for a Payroll Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month period to assist with extra workload. The postholder will be required to come in for a few days per week initially but will be able to work remotely once integrated. Service management support

Support the Group service managers in managing various sections of service including arrangement of outpatient clinics and theatre lists.

Problem-solve all day-to-day management issues organising and reallocating work where situations change due to variations to the workload and staffing availability.

Ensure effective processes and procedures are in place to monitor and track performance against agreed targets within the service.

Exercise delegated authority on behalf of the service managers to resolve day-to-day management issues within the services.

Support the analysis of data so clinicians and service management colleagues have access to timely and accurate information on key performance indicators.

To produce and publish the theatre schedule six weeks in advance taking into consideration consultant leave, annualisation commitments and waiting list demand.

Assisting the Service Managers, Waiting List Team and Theatres team in ensuring that all available theatre capacity is utilised effectively.

To prepare for and attend the weekly Theatre Utilisation meeting, record actions agreed at these meetings and track progress, liaising with staff as necessary to ensure actions are being carried out within agreed timeframes.

Liaising with relevant teams to create additional capacity to manage clinical workload, e.g. Obs and Gynae operating time.

Monitor clinic utilisation and work with service manager and outpatient teams to ensure capacity is meeting demand.

Support service managers in the review of patient waiting lists to meet internal reporting requirements.

Plan and organise the medical secretary service within the Group, setting the goals of the secretarial service in order to fit in with the demands of the consultants’ timetables and act as a first point of contact for day to day issues, including annual leave requests.

To provide service performance monitoring information in response to requests from

Clinicians and Managers for both regular and ad-hoc reports, utilising the tools in use for analysis and presentation.

To support the service managers in the production of documents required for internal reporting forums, to attend such forums and develop and maintain action logs on behalf of the service.

To support the provision of reports to both Group 9 and Trust meetings/ Executive boards as required.

Ensure the maintenance of accurate logs of activities undertaken by medical staff attracting additional pay elements.

Human Resources, vacancy control and staffing management

Develop rotas in conjunction with Group Service Managers and maintain leave trackers to ensure up-to-date records are held in a central area to be accessible to all staff that require the information.

Ensure early escalation of potential significant staff shortages to the relevant Surgical

Service Manager and to jointly develop appropriate action plans to rectify problems, including proposing changes in processes and procedures.

Ensure that all leave and sickness is appropriately recorded and applied for according to due process. Monitor allocations and provide forward notice to staff with regards to managing their leave entitlement.

Carry out return to work interviews for straightforward absences, and support clinical supervisors by providing information and case tracking for more complex absences.

To develop new and maintain existing processes for medical staffing within the

Group, including leave requests and locum claims, ensuring they are tailored to specific needs.

To highlight and escalate where due process is not followed and to gain authorisation for exceptions from either the respective/ appropriate Service or General Manager.

To ensure the careful control and management of expenditure on agency medical staff in the Group, by assisting the Medical Workforce recruitment officer in the timely recruitment to vacancies and careful management of agency staff to minimise the hours utilised.

To work alongside the Service Managers to ensure rota gaps are identified and filled in a timely manner to support theatre utilisation and acute rotas.

Be responsible for the reporting of the expenditure on agency medical staff, ensuring with Group Service Managers, that this is within budget and that use of internal locums and bank are maximised to cover gaps wherever possible.



Application of knowledge

At all times the post holder should use their judgement, knowledge and experience to assess, plan, evaluate and monitor the appropriate interventions

Demonstrate proficiency in the use of a variety of software including Microsoft Office

About the Role

Flinders University is seeking a motivated Manager, Counselling Service to provide operational and strategic leadership of the Counselling Service including the Intake and Assessment team, Counsellors, project and support staff.

Working closely with the Director Student Life, you will play a key role in ensuring that efficient models of services, systems, projects and processes are in place that support student wellbeing and ensure that demand for service is met. In addition, you will also be responsible for:

• Contributing to the management of programs, project, training and community capacity building activities that aim to address mental health and wellbeing, including gender-based violence prevention and response.

“The Service Performance, Quality and Standards Executive is a role within The Money and Pensions Service which supports the SPQS (Service Performance, Quality and Standards) team with monitoring, collating and interrogating quality data across all service lines. The role will work closely with the Quality and Continuous Improvement Managers, working across the Delivery and Transformation Teams within SPQS to review insight and data and identify performance issues and areas of improvement with the MaPS Standards.”

The role

Our Service Performance, Quality and Standards Executive will take a proactive role in bridging the two teams, supporting good communication and identify opportunities for alignment and sharing of practice, alongside:

• Support the production, analysis and routine reporting of performance related KPI’s and customer outcomes (manual and automated reporting)
• To provide support to the SPQS teams with quantitative and qualitative reporting into corporate governance meetings including OpCo, Assurance & Risk Committee, ELT and Board
• Manage and communicate the flow of data linked to the MaPS Quality Assurance Framework – particularly in relation to compliance of the MaPS Standards, customer satisfaction and customer outcomes.
• Co-ordinate post reflective analysis of quality initiatives, producing reports and incorporating good news stories.
• Support the collation and input of quality data from a range of sources including measures within the MaPS Standards testing framework.
• Highlight possible opportunities for improvement of MaPS service lines during data reviews.
• To support alignment across MaPS services, highlighting areas where there may be disparities or similarities in team activity and process.
• Contribute to cross-team project work and knowledge sharing.
• To co-ordinate team meetings and events.
• Attend, support and contribute to relevant stakeholder engagement events.
• Produce high quality reports and other research to strict deadlines.
• Deliver business support and managing complex reporting e.g. qualitative and quantitative data.

Experience and Skills

It is essential for the Service Performance, Quality and Standards Executive to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Proactive and able to work to tight deadlines, juggling competing workloads and deadlines, while always ensuring excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a range of groups and individuals internally and externally.
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team and manage/ influence others to meet deadlines and required standards.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in analysing data, drawing out insight and conclusions and with expertise in producing standard and ad hoc reports.
• Strong organisational, time management and planning skills.
• Experience with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to work in cross functionally in a matrix environment and to build and sustain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders throughout the organisation. 

Desirable:

• An understanding of either the money guidance, pension guidance or debt advice sectors and industries would be an advantage.
