As a Fitness & Wellbeing Manager at our Shoreditch club, you've previously worked as a personal or fitness trainer. You're qualified to REPs Level 3 or CIMSPA Practitioner level and you bring studio experience. You also have a track record of driving PT revenue, as well as designing fitness programmes for groups and individuals.

The Health Technician assists with clinic flow, clinic stocking and performs various basic direct
patient care activities according to facility policy, and that do not require nursing licensure or
professional nursing education. He/she is also responsible for timely and accurate documentation
of care in the electronic medical record. This includes reporting of subjective/objective
information to ensure continuity between the health care team members. Some of the duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ability to prepare patient and products for dressing changes and performs cast removals.
• Properly sets up a sterile field for procedures when assisting the nurse/physician in patient treatment.
• Ability to work independently in the accomplishment of a wide variety of duties, including setting priorities and coordinating work.
• Ability to measure, report, and document vital signs, weight, height, blood glucose, and patient changes in behavior, attitude, bodily complaints and appearance.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Thoroughly and appropriately documents actions interventions and procedures in the medical record.

Assignments associated with this position include but are not limited to

• Completing visual auditory checks of hearing aids and hearing assistive technology; repairing and returning hearing aids to the factor.
• Restoring hearing aid or hearing assistive technology settings after repair or replacement; and ordering, registering, certifying, issuing and tracking prosthetic devices.
• Assists in setting up and delivering face to face telehealth visits by preparing the equipment for patient evaluation and other audiology procedures. The health technician
• Provides clinical procedures consistent with the documented and co-signed plan of care which may include non-diagnostic otoscopy, cerumen management, foreign body removal and ear mold impressions and without interpretation, immittance screening and hearing screening.
• Educates patients, family and staff on topics including but not limited to hearing aid and hearing assistive technology care, maintenance, use and operation, hearing conservation and realistic expectations for hearing aid use.
• Completes documentation for each episode of care and codes procedures as appropriate in the patient record in preparation for co-signature by the audiologist.
• Answering and screening calls from patients regarding audiology needs
• Assisting the audiologist with patient assessment and treatment; assisting with walk-in appointments
• processing incoming devices from patients with concerns related to their hearing aids or hearing assistive technology; and preparing and charging (if required) hearing aids and assistive devices for delivery.
• Must adhere to the audiology clinic policy and standard operating procedures for infection control and cleaning, sterilization, and disposition of reusable medical equipment (RME).
• Maintains a comprehensive supply and equipment tracking system to include monitoring stock of RME and consumable items; ensuring proper inventory levels to complete the daily tasks.
• Prioritizing the acquisition of all supplies and equipment with regard to date of expiration.
• Maintaining proper levels of mailing/shipping supplies.
• Preparing mailing and shipping requests for items including but not limited to hearing aid and hearing assistive

Major duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Preparing the clinical environment, which may include preparing medical and telecommunications equipment to be used for clinical examination and treatment.
• Serving as a telepresenter within scope of practice during clinical video telehealth (CVT) and VA Video Connect (VVC) encounters including tasks such as establishing and maintaining video conferencing connections, making introductions between patient site and provider site, following instructions of a clinician to facilitate an effective clinical encounter.
• Serving as an imager and clinical data manager for store and forward telehealth (SFT) clinical encounters including tasks such as capturing images, collecting data and transmitting them electronically for clinical review in accordance with VHA national guidelines.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Constructing/shapes and repairs common orthotic/prosthetic devices from casts and/ or documents provided by clinician, such as repairs to custom foot orthoses and shoes, using a wide variety of materials.
• Applying prefabricated orthopedic devices including, but not limited to: lumbo-sacral supports, abdominal binders, cervical collars, wrist splints, arm slings, knee braces, knee sleeves, compression hose, ankle supports, trusses, non-custom in- depth shoes, over-the- counter foot orthotics with limited supervision.
• Contacting manufacturers to ensure that new devices or procedures may be transferred to commercial production without compromise of the principles involved.
• Communicating with all levels of staff, both clinical and administrative, as well as with patients and their families, to discuss all aspects of orthotic restoration.
• Fitting and applying a wide variety of orthotic and prosthetic devices utilizing established safety standards and infection control procedures.
• Selecting and interpreting the most appropriate guidelines in making minor adjustments to adapt the work to individual patients.

The incumbent is responsible for Primary Care, Mental Health, Surgery, Medicine or Ancillary ambulatory clinics
oversight and integration into an efficient Clinic Practice Management (CPM) model.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Supports high quality, accessible, cost effective health care services. Ensures a high quality patient experience for the Veteran, by acting on feedback from the Veteran, his or her fam ily and/or significant others, facility employees, expert clinical staff and the ACOD/GPM.
• Provides data, reports and assistance to the ACOD/GPM in their work in development of strategic plans for the facility as it relates to access to care.
• Measures and provides recommendations with an emphasis on improving clinical product line performance.
• Central to the group's purpose of ensuring an exceptional Veteran patient experience is the development, standardization, implementation, and sustainment of key operational/business processes, including scheduling practices, to ensure efficient and effective management of the clinic.
• Identify and recommend improvements to optimize clinic management processes, access strategies, and "make-buy" decisions through analysis of in-house and non-YA provided care.
• Provides access related consultative services, working in collaboration with facility Service Lines, to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate standardized processes within the facility and applicable CBOCs, etc.
• Review and provide input on regulations and policies for local interpretation, utilizing local group practice management and communication strategies.
• Works as part of an in-house team to ensure a wide range of local factors are considered in the application of national policies and procedures.
• May be called upon to collaborate with staff from other facilities and to work on higher level project groups to review and make recommendations for facility and/or VISN level policies, procedures, systems, requirements, documents, and business or access analysis initiatives.
• Reviews and evaluates assigned processes and procedures to determine areas of effectiveness, efficiency, and improvement for proposal through local GPM group and supervisor.
• Reports to supervisor and access leadership in the facility, as assigned. incorporates best practices to help improve patient access to care and that standards are met within assigned services.
• Promotes established system-wide training plans to optimize local use. Supports the local clinic management system based on national requirements.
• Proposes improvements to supervisor regarding national training curriculum for onboarding and sustainment activities. Maintains knowledge of CPM training materials and supports fulfillment of action plans to meet CPM training requirements.
• Works with local personnel to integrate data analytics and measure with continuous process improvement utilizing LEAN, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to meet and sustain ambulatory care goals and objectives.
• Provides administrative program advice for Ambulatory Care clinical support services.
• Acts as liaison or point person for communication with persons and/or group internal or external to the facility, representing Group Practice Management on clinical access issues.

• Conducts data analysis on health care services utilization to identify diagnosis and provider patterns for trend identification to the service chiefs.
• Advises practice leadership on issues affecting quality, safety, and customer service at the practice level.

• Performs phlebotomy procedures such as venipuncture and puncture; determine type of specimen to be collected; and draw and/or collect blood samples for test procedures.
• Process specimens in accordance with the test procedure requirements.
• Greets and screesn patients at the Laboratory Reception Desk, obtaining information to determine need, eligibility of care and priority for testing.
• Prepares samples for shipment by centrifuging sample and separating serum.
