Rol Summary

Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot and repair all Flowserve Control Valve Business Unit products, solicit the sale and installation of spare parts.  Repair and overhaul competitor’s valves when needed.  Have end users rely upon and consider the technician as a knowledgeable control valve resource.  This position also involves the use of valve diagnostic systems for predictive and preventative maintenance.  Troubleshoot equipment returned to the factory for failure analysis.  Answer customer’s questions over the telephone or by e-mail in order to solve problems.  Analyze parts and equipment that have been returned to the factory for failure evaluation.  All other duties as assigned by manager.

Resposibilities:

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment in the field. The equipment will primarily consist of Flowserve Control Valve products, but may also include control valve products of other manufacturers.
• Provide technical phone support to customers
• Assist Flowserve QRC’s when requested and available.
• Assist the engineering department with failure evaluations.
• Initiate Non Conformance Reports (NCR’s).
• Conduct diagnostic testing on control valves and interpret the results. Testing can be via SoftTools, Profiler, ValveSight, FAST Test, or StarTalk XP software.
• Ability to configure, calibrate and commission all digital equipment manufactured by Flowserve. Proficient with HART, MODBUS and Foundation Fieldbus digital communication protocols.

Requirements:

• College or technical school; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• You will develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools, and automated test suites in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements

• Be an integrated part of an Agile IT development team, working interactively with QA Manager, software engineers, test engineers, and product managers from the beginning of the development cycle

• You will work on continuous integration and continuous delivery while managing and maintaining CI and QA tools

• You will manage QA coverage of the products—integration testing (APIs), and end-to-end testing

• You will help develop a cloud strategy, design new cloud environments, and build architecture

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 4 plus years of experience as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer well versed in Automated testing

• Experience with a variety of different testing techniques, such as UI Testing, Automated Testing (front end and backend), Test Driven Development Strategies and others

• At least 4 years of experience with software QA tools such as Cypress, Selenium, etc.

• Knowledge of coding using JavaScript or Typescript is required

• At least 3 years of backend testing experience using REST Assured/Jest

• Experience with AWS is highly preferable. The ability to support CI/CD tool integration throughout the development lifecycle is required

Nous cherchons à pourvoir un poste de spécialiste des procédures d’électrophysiologie sur le terrain à Montréal. Grâce à des technologies médicales révolutionnaires appliquées à la fibrillation auriculaire, l’électrophysiologie chez Abbott permet de faire progresser le traitement des maladies cardiaques, ce qui permet aux patients de retrouver la santé et de reprendre le cours de leur vie.

La personne retenue sera principalement chargée d’assister les clients en matière de soutien clinique, d’entretien et de maintenance des produits Abbott en ce qui concerne les technologies d’électrophysiologie (EP) d’Abbott. De plus, la personne retenue sera chargée de fournir de l’expertise clinique et de collaborer avec l’équipe des ventes (gestionnaire de territoire et gestionnaire régional) afin d’élaborer des stratégies commerciales et de croissance, tout en servant de pont entre les clients et Abbott grâce à ses connaissances techniques.

CE QUE VOUS FEREZ
•    Conformément aux politiques, aux procédures, aux programmes et aux budgets de l’entreprise, la personne retenue sera responsable de réaliser les tâches énoncées ci-après et se verra accorder toute l’autorité nécessaire à cette fin :
•    Appliquer les principes théoriques et les techniques créatives et analytiques généralement acquis au moyen de formations à l’interne approfondies et détaillées grâce à l’expérience acquise dans les laboratoires d’électrophysiologie. Entretenir des connaissances spécialisées et s’informer des avancées techniques et cliniques. Relever et utiliser systématiquement les pratiques les plus efficaces et économiques pour exécuter les processus et évaluer aussi continuellement leur fonctionnalité et leur convenance.
•    Soutenir les procédures EnSite Precision et EnSite X.
•    Participer au dépannage des comptes Abbott établis. Améliorer les logiciels et le matériel informatique au besoin. Travailler avec l’équipe de vente afin de développer des relations à long terme et de favoriser la croissance commerciale de l’entreprise.
•    Participer aux études électrophysiologiques lors desquelles on utilise les produits Abbott (dont le cathéter cardiaque et le système d’enregistrement électrophysiologique Workmate/Claris) en portant une attention particulière aux techniques de cartographie avancées et appuyer ces études en facilitant l’utilisation appropriée et sûre des produits et collaborant en vue de résoudre les problèmes et d’optimiser les résultats.
•    Coordonner l’évaluation clinique des produits conformément aux autorisations de mise en marché limitée.
•    Fournir des services éducatifs au personnel médical et aux professionnels paramédicaux sur des sujets liés aux systèmes d’électrophysiologie et aux produits d’électrophysiologie de base d’Abbott (cathéters diagnostiques et thérapeutiques et des outils tels que les gaines orientables).
•    Assurer la formation du personnel d’Abbott sur les produits, les procédures et les applications selon les besoins.
•    Contribuer aux services cliniques, de formation, d’éducation et de vente à titre de présentateur ou de formateur et élaborer des ressources de formation ou des documents techniques sur les nouvelles technologies (notamment sur les produits concurrents).  
•    Assister les nouveaux utilisateurs et leur fournir de l’orientation durant leur évaluation des produits d’électrophysiologie.
•    Travailler étroitement avec les chefs de territoire afin de favoriser les occasions d’affaires et stimuler les ventes.
•    Préserver son statut d’expert ou d’experte et maintenir ses compétences cliniques et techniques en matière de cartographie électrophysiologique, d’ablation, de diagnostic et de technologies de cathétérisme cardiaque. La connaissance des produits ne doit pas se limiter aux caractéristiques et aux avantages des produits, mais s’étendre à la conception, à la mise au point, à l’application clinique et au positionnement concurrentiel. Assister aux colloques, aux congrès et aux réunions scientifiques afin d’assurer sa formation continue et d’enrichir ses présentations de produits.
•    Maintenir son expertise en matière d’étude électrophysiologique.
•    Obtenir la certification Abbott en matière de technologies électrophysiologiques d’Abbott.
•    Participer à certaines activités régionales/nationales, telles que la soumission des rapports sur l’expérience avec les produits dans un délai raisonnable, l’inventaire et la gestion des stocks.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This position is field-based in Montreal. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

The EP Procedure Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting customers with clinical support, in-servicing, and maintenance of Abbott products for Abbott Electrophysiology (EP) technologies. In addition, providing clinical expertise, collaborating with the Sales Team (Territory Manager and Regional Manager) to assist with developing business strategies and growth, while serving as a technical conduit between customers and Abbott.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•    Within the limit of company policies, procedures, programs and budgets, the EP Procedure Specialist is responsible for and has commensurate authority to accomplish the duties set forth:
•    Work requires the application of theoretical principles and creative/analytical techniques typically acquired through extensive and detailed in-house training and experience gained in the EP lab. Maintains expert knowledge and consults on technical and clinical advancements.  Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness.
•    EnSite Precision and EnSite X Procedure Support.
•    Provide troubleshooting support to established Abbott accounts. Provide software and hardware enhancements as required. Work with sales team to develop long term relationships and business growth
•    Attend EP procedures involving Abbott products (including ICE, EP WorkMate/Claris) with an emphasis on advanced mapping and assist by facilitating proper and safe use of products, and thorough collaborative problem solving, to optimize outcomes
•    Coordinates clinical evaluation of products under Limited Market Release Authorization (LMRA)
•    Provide educational services to medical staff and Allied Health Professionals, on subjects related to Abbott EP Capital Systems and Basic EP Products (Diagnostic, Therapeutic catheters and Tools such as Steerable Sheaths).
•    Provide training on products, procedures, and applications to Abbott staff when required
•    Contribute to Clinical, Training and Education and Sales Organizations as a speaker/trainer, developer of training materials and/or Technical Memos on new technologies (including competitive products).  
•    Attend and provide direction during evaluation of EP products to first-time users
•    Work closely with the Territory Managers to drive business opportunities and sales growth
•    Maintain expert status and continuing clinical and technical proficiency in EP mapping, ablation, diagnostic and ICE technologies. Product expertise should go beyond features and benefits, focusing also on design, development, clinical application and competitive positioning. Attend scientific symposia, congresses, or other meetings for continuing education and to support product displays.
•    Maintain proficiency in EP procedures.
•    Obtain Abbott Company certification in Abbott EP technologies
•    Assist with Regional/National activities such as: timely Product Experience Report submissions; inventory consignment counts and inventory management.
•    Role model Abbott values and ensure all Regional activities maintain a positive customer perception of the Abbott brand
•    Be flexible with travel within Canada for case support, training and meetings (both regional and national)
•    In case the employee is being made aware of an event of complaint in relation to a product distributed by Abbott, said employee shall report this in compliance with the SOP 87600 on Product Experience Reports through EPIQ tracking system

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience
•    Driver’s License and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

• Develop, implement, and manage  a comprehensive security assurance measures for generative AI usage across the company.
• Provide thought leadership and creativity to mature generative AI security governance embedding into our existing cyber risk appetite framework
• Stay abreast of relevant global regulations, industry standards, executive memos, analyst views, and technology trends.
• Provide expertise and guidance on the interpretation and implementation of regulatory requirements to CISO functions.
• Drive security assurance maturity through relevant CISO governance framework, policy, standard, and metrics development

Ce poste sera un modèle hybride permettant d’aider notre établissement de Dorval ainsi que d’autres.

L’équipe de gestion de la qualité est responsable de l’élaboration et de la mise en place de politiques, de procédures et de programmes conçus pour réduire au minimum le risque, assurer la conformité des opérations commerciales et des produits et services, et garantir une intégrité sans compromis de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.

Le titulaire de ce poste relèvera du gestionnaire ou du directeur de la gestion de la qualité de Cardinal Health.  

Votre contribution à l’organisation :

Faire preuve d’une connaissance des exigences en matière de qualité et mettre à profit l’étendue et la portée de votre expérience pour évaluer les risques liés à la qualité et les retombées sur l’entreprise. 
•    Participer à la mise en œuvre et à l’exécution du système d’assurance de la qualité de Cardinal Health pour un ou plusieurs établissements de distribution canadiens, au besoin.
•    Participer aux vérifications de la qualité de l’établissement (internes et externes), au besoin.
•    Participer à l’élaboration de procédures et d’instructions de travail pour les programmes de gestion de la qualité.
•    Mettre en œuvre les politiques et les procédures établies en matière de qualité.
•    Être responsable de l’aide à la mise en place de programmes de formation liés à la qualité, au besoin.
•    Maintenir des mesures liées à la qualité pour le pays et/ou la région qui vous est assigné.
•    Fournir une orientation et un encadrement continus au personnel des opérations concernant les questions de qualité.

•    Réaliser les activités d’inspection, de test et d’autorisation au Canada pour les fournisseurs canadiens de la marque nationale et de la marque Cardinal Health, le cas échéant.
•    Exécuter les activités de réusinage/réétiquetage conformément aux protocoles.
•    Coordonner les enquêtes et les résolutions relatives aux mesures correctives et préventives/non-conformités pour les événements ayant lieu dans les établissements.

•    Participer à l’élaboration de politiques et de procédures axées sur l’atteinte d’objectifs précis.

•    Recommander de nouvelles pratiques, de nouveaux processus, de nouvelles mesures ou de nouveaux modèles.
•    Proposer des solutions qui peuvent créer un précédent.
•    Fournir de la rétroaction aux chefs de projet concernant l’achèvement de nouveaux projets.
•    Faire preuve de leadership lié au perfectionnement professionnel pour les subordonnés directs, le cas échéant.

Ce poste vous est destiné si vous répondez aux critères suivants :

•    Diplôme en sciences reconnu par Santé Canada, de préférence

•    Bilinguisme (français et anglais), de préférence

•    Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience dans un domaine connexe, de préférence

•    Expérience des règlements de la FDA et de Santé Canada, un atout

•    Expérience des règlements locaux/régionaux en matière de qualité

•    Compréhension des concepts, des principes et des capacités techniques permettant de participer à un vaste éventail de projets

Responsibilities:
