Project Governance and Finance

* To ensure that allocated budgets are handled in a fully audit able manner compliant with funder procedures, and to supply appropriate financial data to funder when required to do so.
* To collate, process, upload and check financial claims made by the Project Partners for the purpose of the project.

Project Reporting
* In consultation with Project Partners, to coordinate preparation of relevant scientific and technical progress reports (monthly and annually) and submit them to the funding body.
* In consultation with Project Partners, to coordinate inputs to the final Project Report.
* To produce financial reports on behalf of the research programme and to submit them to funding body as required.

Project Communications Plan (stakeholder management)
* To assist with implementation of the Project Communication Plan within and with consortium partners.
* To assist with coordination and delivery of various project events as detailed in the Project Communication Plan, including workshops, conferences, stakeholder meetings etc.

Specific Experience / Qualifications required

• A third level qualification at degree level (e.g. B.A.,B.Sc.).
• At least 3 years' experience of project management in a scientific or business context.
• At least 2 year experience of financial reporting within an organisation.
• At least 2 years' experience of stakeholder engagement and writing reports for funders / stakeholders

Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrical Tester to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical
systems within commercial properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a remote role
with ample overtime opportunities, career progression, and a company van provided.

Key Responsibilities:
Tester Role:
● Conduct inspection and testing of electrical installations in commercial properties.
● Ensure compliance with current regulations and safety standards (BS 7671).
● Prepare detailed reports based on inspection findings and provide recommendations for
any remedial works.
● Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with
clients.
● Participate in an on-call standby rota (1/6 weeks).
Maintenance Electrician Role:
● Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works on electrical systems and equipment.
● Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:
● Electrical NVQ Level 3 or higher.
● 17th/18th Edition certification.
● 2391 Testing and Inspection certification (or equivalent).
● Proven experience in testing and inspecting electrical systems in commercial properties.
● A valid UK Driving Licence.
