You will serve as a Contract Specialist with complete responsibility to plan and recommend for execution, all contractual actions and phases for assigned programs.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:

• The incumbent will be assigned to one of the following branches within the Human Resources Operations Center: Recruitment and Placement, Benefits and Retirement, Processing/Records, and/or Classification.
• Responsible for the pre-employment process to include extending tentative job offers, initiating and tracking drug testing and medical reviews, establishing start dates, and responding accordingly to inquiries while providing continual HR support.
