FM Conway is currently searching for an Engineering Apprentice to join our Structures division based at our Mandela Way office. This is a full time, permanent role, offering full training and a clear career pathway. As part of your role, you will complete Level 4 or Level 6 in Civil Engineering.

As our Engineering Apprentice, you will work in a supported learning environment to develop the skills and knowledge required to complete an Engineering Apprenticeship. The Engineering department at Guys Hospital are seeking Engineering Maintenance Specialists with Electrical experience to join our team.

The Essentia Engineering team is seeking an individual with experience in engineering and building services management and knowledge of current Electrical legislation.

The post holder will provide a reactive electrical service to the Engineering Department and other Directorates within Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

You will need to manage and balance competing priorities and will have knowledge of current relevant legislation, health and safety and good working practices.

Day-to-day plant maintenance is required, as directed by the team manager or engineering management. The post holder will need to be proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, with the ability to work with the general public.

Post holders will have relevant qualifications and experience in electrical trades.

General To assess and maintain equipment and devices for use in health care services Assess new medical devices/equipment for clinical use. Commission and accept new medical devices/equipment for clinical use either in the clinical area or within MEMS. Calibrate and verify electrical / electronic equipment in the clinical area.
