As part of Maternal Mental Health Services, Birth in Mind is a specialist service providing assessment and treatment for adults with severe Fear of Birth (medically referred to as tokophobia) and/or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to their birth experience (including miscarriage, still birth and neonatal loss). This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join Slough CMHT to support the operational and strategic developments of the service as well lead on the formation of a small Task Team within Slough Care Pathways.

We have an opportunity for an experienced clinician to join our supportive and friendly team based in the Newbury locality.

• Provide high quality assessment and clinical formulation

We are looking for a proactive, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team. The post provides lots of variety and as a member of the MHICS Wokingham team you will support both GP Services and NHS staff.

The MHICS administrator’s role is to ensure that all administrative functions are delivered and run smoothly for the benefit of the service and its service users. Therefore, we are looking to recruit someone with excellent interpersonal skills and initiative who can work in a busy team.

Being the first point of contact for the Mental Health Integrated Community Service in Wokingham, the successful candidate will be responsible for a number of tasks, including the administration of incoming referrals, booking appointments, supporting the team with administration of reports, assessment letters and answering incoming telephone calls from clients, their families and third parties, and organising and taking minutes at a variety of meetings.

This is a full-time role, 9-5 and you will be based at the office in Resource House, Wokingham, with the possibility of occasional homeworking.
• Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills
• Ability to use a practical problem-solving approach in everyday situations.
• Good IT skills, with an ability to navigate around various systems and software packages, such as Outlook, MS Office, the internet and databases
• Strong organisational and planning skills
