An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join the Berkshire CAMHS Anxiety Disorders Treatment Team (ADTT).

BHFT CAMHS ADTT members are passionate about using individualised and formulation-led evidence-based approaches to help children, young people and families. We provide specialist assessments and treatment for children and young people suffering with anxiety disorders, OCD and Tic Disorders across Berkshire. Our team has good research links and is pleased to offer training placements to Trainee Clinical Psychologists, Trainee CBT Therapists and Specialist Psychiatry registrars.

The post holder will provide high quality safe, effective, efficient, and timely assessments and treatments for young people with anxiety disorders, OCD and Tic disorders.

This role may particularly suit a newly qualified Clinical Psychologist as there are a number of other supportive Clinical Psychologists in the team with experience of supporting with career development.

Snowdrop ward is a mixed acute ward providing care to adults with mental health conditions such as Bipolar affective disorder, depression and schizophrenia. The ward can support the needs of up to 20 patients in a caring and compassionate environment.

The Activity Co-ordinator service operates seven days a week, where your working days will rotate (including weekends) with a second Activity Co-ordinator. Working hours 14.00pm to 10.00pm, 5 days a week.

The post holder will plan, coordinate and implement a range of individual and group activities designed to meet the social and recreational needs of in-patients.

The post holder will be required to use their initiative when working independently on the wards and are expected to report any clinical progress, concerns or change to a qualified practitioner.

The Wokingham Community Older Adults Mental Health Team is looking for TWO enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Senior Mental Health Practitioners (Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist) to join our friendly and innovative Home Treatment Team (HTT).

Your base would be Wokingham Community Hospital where we have access to free parking facilities, staff room and a friendly and welcoming team. There is also the opportunity to work remotely, and a balance of office and home would be encouraged.

The normal rota hours are either 9-5pm or 11-7pm, including weekend shifts which are 9-3pm usually once a month (Appropriate supervision will be provided for weekend cover). We would also welcome candidates who may wish to work long days / and or work their shifts flexibly across the week. There will be the opportunity for NHSP overtime to cover sickness and leave.

You will be joining a welcoming admin team who are pro-active in ensuring a high standard of service within MSK Physio across East Berkshire. 
• Communications to patient either by letter or text message.

• Monitoring and updating spreadsheets

• Booking and outcoming appointment on our in-house system

• Reception cover 

• Sending out invite letters

• Making interpreter bookings via an on-line portal

• Monitoring our text message reminder responses

• Cover at other sites within our Service (Driving licence/car owner essential) 

• Monitoring the group email and responding to queries asappropriate.

We have a vacancy at ourMaidenheadbase. Within this post you will contribute to the provision of a high-quality Physiotherapy service, responsive to need, for adults with a wide range of conditions across East of Berkshire.


You willbe responsible forthe assessment,treatmentand caseload management for patients, undertaking all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, working without direct supervision asrequired.


The Windsor town centre offers an attractive mix of quaint old streets below the castle and smart new shops from old family businesses to chain stores. Windsor also has the stunning rural countryside of 4,800 acres of Windsor Great Park close by. Great travel links to the M4, M25, M40 and M3 and is just a short trip from Heathrow international airport and central London. Maidenhead is a Thameside town with small shops and a pedestrianised High Street, a multiplex cinema, health club and 2 Michelin star restaurants. It has excellent motoring links being close to the M4, M40 and A4. 


This rolewill be working on a rota basis coveringsomeweekends.




• Clinically you will be working with rehabilitation, medical, palliative, and neurological patients.

• Provide a high standard of physiotherapy for adults living within East of Berkshire

• Accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in your care, ensuring a high standard of clinical care for the patients under your management

• Responsibility for a designated caseload of patients, and to organise this effectively and efficientlywith regard toclinical and management priorities and use of time

• Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies; use clinical reasoning and analytical skills and manual assessment techniques to providean accuratediagnosis of their condition

• Formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy management and treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, treatment skills e.g. manual physiotherapy techniques, patient education, exercise classes and other alternative options.

• Evaluate patient progress, continually re-assessand alter treatment programmesin order toprogress treatments effectively

• For those who wish to develop their management skills there is the opportunity to supervise junior staff and students.
