Our client, a fantastic Hotel, spa and award winning restaurant, which has undergone redevelopment based in Newquay with idyllic views overlooking one of Cornwall’s most scenic beaches are seeking a full-time, Restaurant Manager offering a competitive salary with service charge.

The role is a Hands on operation- working closely with Food and Beverage manager and Head chef to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
Our client’s establishment is well known for its fresh produce. The establishment promotes breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea menu. This characteristic building has a fantastic restaurant which produces high volumes of food throughout the summer.

Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to…
• Supporting and reporting to the assistant group manager and general manager in day-to-day operations
• Effectively manage on a day to day basis, this busy restaurant and bar operation within this hotel
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Support all staff
• Manage staffing levels and Rota’s
• Implementing training on food and beverage sales and services techniques
• Stock take and ordering
• Food hygiene
• Health and Safety
Working hours will be varied and include weekends and evenings. This is a full-time position with plenty of scope for development within the group.
