The Senior Quantity Surveyor (Site) is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

Quality

• Take off the quantity and evaluate quotations from approved vendors.
• Prepare subcontract documents and purchasing agreements.

Procurement, Contract, VOs, EOTs

• Performs cost estimates.
• Prepares and updates cash flow charts.

Safety

• At least 5 years of experience in the procurement of construction projects and/or building variation works.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in managing a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead subordinate Contracts staff and provide supervision/instructions to the staff.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Good knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Contracts Administration.

• Lead and oversee the CORENET submission process for Architectural Packages/Technical Submissions; functioning as a trusted interface for all regulatory work.
• Guide the technical direction of each project, bringing clarity to teams in crafting and refining architectural submission packages for local authorities.
• Ability to guide/implement and coordinate submissions within Revit Architecture, ensuring they meet the rigor required for approval.
• Navigate project submissions with a keen understanding of regulatory standards, building compliance documents that address every detail.
• Maintain strict oversight on document revisions, preserving the quality and consistency of each deliverable.
• Assume responsibility for project areas as needed, steering design elements to align seamlessly with statutory regulations.
• Support Architects, Designers, and Project Leaders in implementing adjustments, harmonizing design packages with Authority feedback and code

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Architectural, Civil, or related Design Discipline
• At least 5 years of prior experience in an Architectural or Professional Engineering Consultancy
• Strong knowledge of Corenet submission; the ability to properly perform submissions is crucial
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work with different external stakeholders and key partners
