We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and passionate individual to join our global qualitative team as a Qualitative Research Manager to be based in our India office in Mumbai. Our specialist qualitative team collaborate on projects with account teams to lend qualitative weight to projects at all stages usually involving writing proposals, conducting fieldwork and writing reports (project management and admin tasks are normally handled within the project management team). Fieldwork could take place both nationally, in other parts of Asia or globally, so the flexibility to travel as and when required is essential.

Role
As a Senior Research Manager, you will take the lead on running market research projects, involving client liaison and project management from research design through to final debrief presentations. The work covers a range of ad hoc projects, typically involving quantitative and qualitative research (predominantly quantitative), and both traditional and online fieldwork in India and internationally. With MMR’s focus on developing new and better research methods and sophisticated analysis techniques, the role offers the opportunity to gain experience of several novel and exciting approaches to conducting research and interpreting data.
We are looking for an individual with 6-8 years in the market research agency field. Ad hoc agency experience is preferable, ideally you will have FMCG experience and experience in handling product and concept tests. Much of MMR’s work is food, drink, personal and home care related so relevant experience of this sector is always beneficial. Quant experience is essential and exposure to qual would be beneficial. A passion for client responsiveness, attention to detail, strong organisational skills, time management, team working and communication effectiveness are essential.
