Senior Specialist, Software Engineer (Backend) will work within the Human Health Digital Data and Analytics area to contribute to development of our advanced data science application platform. We are realizing the vision of a cohesive commercial decision support suite, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions to optimize delivery of our product to patients. The candidate will work with the Solutions Engineering team to architect and implement highly available and performant solutions using AWS cloud, Kubernetes, and AWS AI/ML services.
The Senior Specialist, Software Engineer (Backend) role requires excellent programming skills in Python and thorough knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and implementation of cloud-based architecture.
The preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, understanding of healthcare & technology, a demonstrated record of building solutions preferably using AWS cloud platform services. The candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, an ability to work independently and deal well with ambiguity and strong collaboration skills. Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Specialist in Chemical Technical Operations, External Manufacturing.
The successful candidate will bring energy, knowledge, and an innovation mindset to carry out the following role which is part of the Chemical Technical Operations (CTO) team, a team of engineers and chemists that manage the supply of intermediates and APIs from External Partners (EP) located in the AP region. The position reports to the Director, CTO, External Manufacturing (ExM). The technical lead will be part of the ExM Focused Factory the provides oversight of External Partners in day-to-day manufacturing and supply of products. The technical lead may also be involved in new process introduction and technical transfers to new or existing EPs.
Main responsibilities of the Technical Lead include:
Support technical due diligence assessments at potential EP’s.
Support initial technical transfer of new or existing products to the EP and liaison with the sending site.
Collaborates with Focused Factory team members (Operations and Quality) in the oversight of EPs with an End-to-End mindset.
Proactive partnership with EP's to achieve business goals, capacity improvements, mitigate risks and continuously improve performance so as to establish a common culture that benefits both company and EP.
Acting as a point of contact for the EP, provide ‘calibrated’ technical oversight of manufacturing at the EP, monitor performance, manage change requests and review deviation reports.
Provides rapid responsive support to EPs to resolve manufacturing issues and minimize supply disruption.
During technical transfer and issue resolution, partner effectively and leads the interface with Laboratories groups as well as other Science and Technology groups (Supply Analytical Sciences, Material Sciences etc.) on aligned priorities.
Acting a link between the EP and downstream and upstream (company and External Partners) sites.

As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Data Solutions team and play a key role in understanding, maintaining and utilizing data assets/products optimally, establishing enterprise data management principles, standards, and guidelines on behalf of the assigned functional area or data domain, and serving as the point of contact for matters of data quality, fitness, and implementation of data governance. You will be responsible for the stewardship of transversal and therapeutic area-specific data domains and act as the subject matter expert, working with data consumers and stakeholders on how to best manage and leverage data assets/products within the organization. You will also work closely with data product owners and data engineers to support these data assets/products throughout their lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Ensure compliance, security, and quality of data assets and products, making sure these are fit for purpose
· Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) with your specific data domain(s) working closely with data engineers, data product owners and data consumers
· Drive data profiling, exploratory data analysis and produce/maintain key artifacts such as data dictionaries, catalogs and lineage information
· Drive creation and implementation of governance policies and procedures around intake, storage, processing, and transmission of data; report on and escalate data quality/governance/compliance issues as needed

· 7+ years of relevant data analysis, data management, consulting and/or industry experience (master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling)
· Basic knowledge on how data assets/products are developed and used within business processes and data science/analytics use cases
· Baseline knowledge of relevant datasets in pharma/healthcare commercial and marketing analytics domains
· Proficiency with data analysis techniques and tools, particularly SQL
· Analytical and data-focused thinking, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail
· Ability to drive decisions for their functional area to data domain owners and ability to influence across business/functional areas
· Ability to develop efficient processes with minimal administrative burden and produce high-quality documentation
